I’ve told anyone who will listen that Fister is the perfect exhaust for the 996. It’s barely noticeable until you really get on the gas. Then it makes the 996 sound like a 911 should. Plus there’s no drone at highway speed. I also recently replaced my engine mounts. It’s a pretty easy diy if you take your time.
Yes, the Fister exhaust is just right.
I should have the filming of the next portion of the project done soon.

@@berniedmd1901 glad you like it. I’m working on the next video in the series. Hoping to have it done soon.

I have the Natika back up camera centrally mounted just above my license plate. Works great, it’s clearer than the oem cameras on my Panamera!
Thanks for the tip. I’ll take a look at it as I’m looking to do the backup camera soon.

Congrats! Nothing like modifying a Porsche sports car!
It's about time you started 😂
As far as "sitting next to new McClarens" etc... I think you'd have to get to home built "911 RSR" type modifying..(or maybe 911 R) RSR would mean turning it into a mid-engine).
Good luck and have fun!
Fair point about the McLarens and if it doesn’t end up in the front row it will be fine. I met a lot of great guys in the back 40.
I’m having fun working on the next task and hope to have a few more videos in the series soon.

@@OurRideLife That's what it's all about "fun" imo!
California's a long way to ship an exhaust from here in Spain, but I might just have to give this Fister mod a try myself :)
From Spain you can probably have a local shop do a similar thing if you don’t have the equipment yourself. But it certainly sounds good when you get on the gas.

Great video man. I am kind of doing the same thing to my 99 C2. I am in SC, let me know if you come by!
Glad you enjoyed it. If I’m in SC, I’ll make sure to post something.
