A track test puts any car to the test so that you wont have to. The depreciation on a 2 year old Roma (120-130k with good options) with the complimentary 7 year free servicing makes it a no brainer compared to the rest
Second hand you could potentially pick up a DBS for similar, that's an interesting comparison as that's an older, but hugely characterful 700bhp supercar v a roma, both designed for longtrips. That's a tough one!
@@oliverprice7039 Problem is with the old DBS is it has the old Aston Martin interior and Mercedes equipment. Which is ageing like milk and made it look 10 years out of date even when it came out. Forza Ferrari AM are beautiful but this one is a bit too Brawny. Porsche is Porsche and victim of its own success and is found everywhere... I typically would pick the Porsche, But in this trio, my choice is the Elegant Roma
Roma is stunning and its own interior !!! As has the Aston, Porsche looks great with the same interior most 911’s have, not different enough, as that’s what you will see most of the time as the driver, Roma for me.
I am not sure I am a big fan of Aston Martin's current design direction. It's all one massive grill at the front, and I think this just looks a bit too much like the One-77. I wish Aston had followed down the path of the DB-10 (which ironically looks more like the Roma), as that was a really gorgeous looking Aston and I think recent Aston's have lost that.
The Roma was never intended to have a long production run. I believe the idea is more models built in smaller quantities to maintain a level of scarcity for each.

That big, fat, ugly and plasticky central screen in the Roma just ruins the car for me. What were Ferrari thinking? It just spoils the otherwise elegant interior.
Ferrari has the best engine, so for that reason alone, it deserves victory. Porsche shouldn't be in this company; it's not special, exclusive, or beautiful enough.

Two great, beautiful cars, and a fast Beetle.
A real car road test so rare these days.. 😂❤ German cars do generally ride a little firm for a road car.. I would take the Aston every time…
Great review… 👍😊
The vertical infotainment screen in the Ferrari makes me want to vomit. It ruins the entire car.
If you're looking used, what about a GT4Lusso or even an F12? Are these cars better?
Or a DBS SUPERLEGGERA! 130K. Pretty compelling at that price
@@oliverprice7039 Judging by the reviews they are pretty underwhelming, but they fixed it with the Ultimate edition. If I ever have the budget I'll go drive them all.
@PutSomeDsonThatBlink think you have to know what it is when driving it, it's an event, it's not a daily, it's to go on tour with and feel special. Not for track or to go to the office. For that purpose I think it probably is about perfect. I have driven the DB11 V12 which was a good tourer and a V8 AMR, which had a bit more oomph, put them together and add better looks and more power... I think for that it would be epic! I might still take a Roma, though! If I was paying
You’d be mad to buy one of those cars used, especially out of warranty. Even the smallest job cost a fortune
@@gaycha6589 These cars are going to depreciate so much though that the money you lose will far outweigh maintenance bills on those cars.
(1)-911 (2)-Aston Martin (3)- Ferrari
Once again, Matt shows how to review a car intelligently.
Reasons to buy per brand:
Porsche: wallet, heart
Ferrari: heart, wallet
Aston: heart, only heart
It would easily be the Aston for me.
Would go for Aston Martin on looks alone 😊❤
That big, fat, ugly and plasticky central screen in the Roma just ruins the car for me. What were Ferrari thinking? It just spoils the otherwise elegant interior.
The Aston interior quality is so good, except I did notice.......and there it is.
The Porsche is the best car here by a mile, but man that Aston looks and sounds sensational. Definitely second for me after the Porsche.
Ferrari has the best engine, so for that reason alone, it deserves victory. Porsche shouldn't be in this company; it's not special, exclusive, or beautiful enough.
it's not special, exclusive, or beautiful enough....
It's here because it is the best and most reliable of the 3.
These are all brilliant cars. You can´t go wrong with any of them. But people always are in fear they don´t get "THE best". I would, if i could, always take an Aston. Even if another would be considered "better" (and there is always one, tbh) .
