Hello. Thanks for watching! You can take your truck home with you or most 3PL companies allow their contractors to leave their trucks at their terminal. So if you do not have parking, as long as you are contracted with that 3PL they will allow you to leave your truck at their yard overnight so after your route is done, if you want you can return there and leave the truck. Its ultimately up to you.

As long as you enter into the industry right by doing extensive research there is no way you should fail being in the center of it all. But you must enter correctly.

Hello. That can depend on a few variables. Market is the biggest variable. High density vs. low density. So a broad range of 8-14 hours depending on a multitude of variables.

Hello. Final mile is a full time dedicated lane. Routes are normally all day.
Does this mean no installs just drop off stops?
Hello. Exactly! No installs. Just drop offs. You do not have to go into the home at all. Curbside means curb. Now if your a nice guy and they have a garage and you want to put in the garage then that’s fine. But just dropping at the curb for the most part.

Hello. Each 3PL is different and have different compliance in different states. My suggestion would be to inquire with each company in your state and see what there compliance is for onboarding.

I have a couple more questions if u don't mind. Since final mile is local does that mean u can drive more then the 11 hours mandated by law since your not driving OTR using your ELD? Also how much would u pay a driver if u hired him or her to drive one of your trucks to do final mile curbside delivery such as this?
@@ericramirez6146 Yes. As long as your local within 150 air miles then yes. Some of the routes can go over 12 hours. Driver pay in my market $200-$300 per day.
