Wonderful review! I am fascinated with this but wonder how the built in tuner works without a display and would this tune a 5-string bass? Could you show us how the tuner works?
There is a little display in there :)
Use it with 5 string (low B) on gigs in light and dark conditions, tuner works very well for me.
Honestly I didn't hear a sound I'd prefer to what I get from my cheapo £20 Behringer BDi21, a good copy of the Sansamp. Throw on compression, and it's all live bass needs.

I’m not sure about that, but I don’t think so. Check out the Tech 21 website just in case :)
It will, however, operate on one of the newer Volto 300mA lithium battery power supplies that tucks away nicely under a small pedaltrain mounting rail if you choose to mount the Fly Rig on something.
Does it work with headphone directly without plugging in bass amp? (I'm the beginner about effector lol)

@@IvanBassist I feel like you left out a lot on the SansAmp drive portion of the effects pedal. Barely seemed to crank the drive at all. Apologies if I came off harsh. Most people usually aren't receptive to criticism to I just sorta get harsh lmao. Otherwise the review was not bad.
