I LOVE YOU, OMG. I have same car (manual), same harness with raise canbus. I bought the car with this stupid headunit shitly spliced into the factory harness by the OG owner. I have been having the same damn issue. U a G for this.
@@jessesandoval9727 thanks! It runs but I dont wanna risk messing up the trans more by adding more power to the car lol. Just gotta replace a couple bearings that are making a bad sounds when car is moving.
What is the green wire you are connecting the trigger wire to? I have a manual and this problem is occurring but it should be getting triggered to the head unit because the trigger wire is connected to the reverse wire leading to the back and connecting to the reverse light?
@@MoisesEmpire there is but it has a aux yellow cable. The camera came on when I turned the car on. Randomly. I hooked it up to all the yellow cables in the car and nothing
@@jazeebers9778 I known what ur talking about but those yellow cables are the wrong one. The wire your looking for comes from the main harness. The radio manual should tell you which wire is the camera wire. Im not near my car right now to check for sure but I think my pink wire was the 3rd wire on the top row from left to right on the main harness.
@@MoisesEmpire oh ok. Yeah I think mine are different colors. I’ll check also when I get home. I am also following your ig page. I’ll send you a dm. Thanks for the help bro!
@@cruisk lots of places. Any auto parts store or walmart. I think best buy has some also since they sell audio equipment. It can be any color since u just need 1 wire to pass the signal from car to the radio.
@@anthonyphan4530 oh u mean tpms. The civics dont have those in the wheels. If light is on then a tire needs air or has to much. On the Si its calibrated through the radio. I have the actual button on the side but yes this android radio does have the options in the menus to calibrate it just like the oem Si radio.

Thank you very much for the video. Did you connect only one wire to get the camera working?
Yes just the one extra wire to the car. The rest was plug and play the harness.
well done, im glad it worked out as that radio looks nice :)
Did you tap into the reverse lights? I want to do this to my old Nissan, but I'm not sure what wire i need to hook up to.
No not the reverse lights. I tap the headunits camera wire to the cars rear camera wire.
When are you going to dyno your car again? I would like to know how fast your car goes now🚀
Hopefully some time next month. Need to fix the transmission first and it aint cheap 😭
Aww damn okay brotha! Hope you get that sick ass car back on the road!

Would you say your stereo sounds better now? I have a 2018 civic and want to upgrade the stereo but have been on the fence. Thanks!
Upgrading just the radio usually wont make the speakers sound better. You need to upgrade the speakers for that.
@@MoisesEmpire when I got my android head unit my sound quality got significantly better. For my kia optima
Yup most aftermarket radios have built in amps that make even the OEM speakers sound better.
How you conect for can work the factory rear camera
Yes. I used the factory camera in this video.

The green wire that I connected the red wire to is the reverse lights wire.
I have the same head unit but it doesn’t have the back pink wire, can you tell me from where the wire is coming from? Thanks
Is there any wire that says camera? Might just not be pink on yours.

I have the same problem
I have automatic transmission and I’m still having the problems with the backup camera everything else works but the back up camera any suggestions?
I would try the same thing I did.

Lol good luck.
Thanks for video it worked for me
Nice! Im glad it worked out.
Does the headunit have a brand name please?
Sorry but I can't remember what it was. I had bought it off someone and they didn't have the box for it and the manual did not have a name.
Hi, where did you get that radio?
Off someone on Facebook market place lol.
Did you use 6v step down switch?
I have no idea what that is lol so ima say no.
Can this get rid of tps like oem? Nvm si dont have that tps button like yours.
Idk what tps is lol.
