Had a question in regards to the reverse camera. I'm not allowed to switch to the different camera angels as well as the camera lines staying static. Any help would be appreciated
My steering wheel doesn’t move with back up lines (tried playing with factory settings, static trace on and off and it won’t move) is there a wire missing???
Hey can anyone help… my radios touchscreen won’t work anymore. The screen isn’t frozen it’s just none of the buttons when I press will do anything anymore. It there a fix for this?
When you installed in did the volume knob work right away? I noticed that my volume knob doesn’t work when I turn the volume up and down but when I press the knob it mutes and unmutes. I just thought that was weird. Also my reverse parking lines don’t move at all even with the trace off. I’m guessing it’s depending on what canbus setting it is at?
I spent hours messing with this unit. You might need to turn on the physical volume knob In the settings under "Factory". Mine worked out of the box but the knob functionality can be turned on or off. Also, all the settings for the reverse cam can be adjusted in settings.
This was installed in a Honda Civic LX model that uses the instrument cluster to reset the maintenance minder. I have no experience with higher trim level models that use the stereo, except that the factory settings app is supposed to work to do all of that. I would reach out to Joying directly.
Can not use original microphone. According to Joying it can reset maintenance minder. I have an LX model that you reset through the instrument cluster though so I don't know firsthand.
He installed the usb cord that comes with it. You could just route it into the glove box pretty easily without drilling anything, but what he did was a pretty clean install of it
To be more specific, he installed the usb so that he can plug anything in through the usb plug. For example, if he had a flash drive with movies or music on it, he could plug that in and use it on the head unit
The LTE cable is used if you wanted to use a separate SIM card. That way the head unit will have internet access without being connected to your phone.
Thursday is a program in the programs list. I can't remember the exact name of it now but it has the icon of the snowflake and you go into that program and uncheck the enable on startup icon. Then either force close the app or restart the head unit and it will no longer be there

@JackofAllMasterofNone okay thank you and one more question, do you know why my music stops playing when I go in reverse?
It's in the settings. It's just lowering the volume. You can disable it completely or change the level it lowers the volume when in reverse
Are you able to mute the beep noise when you click on menu items?
Yes. It's in the options
Do you know how to change the setting for door locks? My setting got changed somehow and I’m trying to get it back so all doors unlock when I unlock the drivers door.
Look for the factory settings app. It's an app in the app drawer on the head unit
@@JackofAllMasterofNone I tried that but not seeing where to change it. All doors will unlock when I go to the passenger side but not the drivers. It started when I pressed reset values.
Is it me or does the music sound off compared to before? Can someone help me? It’s for my 2018 Honda civic
