According to the Warhammer Community article I read this week Legionaries are on the classified list of factions for one more year, do you think their popularity with players might extend the competitive life of this team beyond that?
So, the Balefire can now heal itself DURING a fight, right? As you strike, you're triggering Life Siphon and healing back the damage your opponent's strike just did? Big if true.

Before Tzeentches rule was 1 instance of a lethal 5+, it was effectively what it is now but in more words. I'm very glad they brought back confirmed crits to Tzeentch, it makes it hard to defend against and once again gives the rocket launcher a good home in killteam! Pairs amazingly with their strategic ploy.
Nice overview. Currently painting up my Legionaries as Alpha Legion. Figured if any can be mistake for another chapter and all. My question is are you still limited to having certain legions in your roster. ie, no Tzeench and Nurgle combined or is it open now?
I'm curious, did anyone at GW tell you why Blooded were disallowed a 2nd plasma weapon when no such restriction has been put upon the Legionaries or the Kasrkin?
What about the "Astartes" racial when it says that they can react whatever their order is, if the operative is hidden can they make a reaction shot? PS: this is written with a translator, sorry
@@CanYouRollaCrit I haven't played the new edition yet but it sounds like my go to roster is all suffering! Not to say they did great before, but my faves were Heavy Bolter/Reaper Cannon Gunner and Power Fist Champ. Still don't think I'll build a Power Maul Champ, though.
@@CanYouRollaCrit They are! Perhaps not the 'best' operative choices because I never bought the box and had to make something with secondhand normal chaos legionaries. There is a fair amount of kitbash involved but I did manage to make them look nice.
Not a big fan of the 4 Firefight ploys being wholly devoted to one each of the 4 God marks, considering there is a fifth undivided mark. One of the faction equipment is fairly redundant with the undivided chaos mark too. I Guess my undivided Legionnaires don't get firefight ploys? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Other than that I am loving these rules!
OK so might be crazy to say this but Killteam either needs to be all elite teams or no elite teams. Elite teams right now just have huge advantage and a vastly easier time winning than non elite teams.

Nope but probably because Blooded have easy access to relentless as well as taking melta too
Does Malefic Blades count towards the Aspiring Champion’s power fist making him hit on 3+?
He hits on 3s, but it doesn't use the power fist profile, it uses the malefic blade profile
His fist will still hit on 3s sadly

I'm running an emperor's children full Slaanesh team. I am quite happy about how good slaanesh is now, can't wait to try them out in 3rd edition!
