I just got home today from Vietnam, spent 5 days in Da Nang about a week ago, 50 meters up the road from where you were having your first coffee. I went to the markets to buy a shirt but nothing would fit me 😆 I take an XL in Ozzy but their XLs are like a small size!
Had a fantastic time in Vietnam and highly recommend it as a travel destination!!!
Been watching your channel for a few months. The countries you visit and nothing like my home town of Las Vegas Nevada US. If I was younger maybe i would travel to Thailand or Vietnam. But I am 70 years old and my health is on the decline. So will have to visit Asia in my next life. Cheers

I would need a good 6 months in Vietnam to do what I wanted to do , I hear it is an amazing country , I would love to do from the north to the south ,
I was lucky enough to travel North to South back in 2007 before the western invasion of Fast Food to Saigon it was an amazing time to be there we saw only 2 other foreigners during our 4 week journey they were 2 college girls from Golden Colorado.

I enjoyed watching this video I know what there like at those markets had the same experience in 2019 when I went to the markets in ho chi Minh Vietnam once you show interest in what there selling the game is on haggle haggle they even stop you from leaving there shop had that experience before nice video Mr esquire 😁👍

Great Adventure! We have a friend that buys all of the Merch & souvenirs; often he gets his pack stolen is stolen (or misplaced!) and he begins again. As the frugal traveler, I ask him why he continues on this slippery slope; he says "Can't carry it all mate, but I like to barter and, besides, it helps the local economy!" Be the Day and wear a hat in that mid day sun! Cheers!

Yes I know that’s more than the initial price but I once went into a bizarre in Egypt to buy goggles for my daughter. Came out with a hooded jumper (useful in the Egyptian blazing heat), flip-flops, a snorkel and a miniature souvenir guitar thing (made in China, naturally). Oh and no goggles.

Good ol Springvale market. Totally Asian and we loved it when we lived there. And a great noodle shop on the east side of Springvale road.

Bro you did great eating that Banh Xeo (Banh Sau) for a first timer without no one showing you how. Well done. Yeah you can get those everywhere in Vietnam but some are quite oily as they are pan fried. Looks like you were in the Hai Chau area which is where the rich people live. That market - you nailed it - is for the Vietnamese and foreign tourists. Locals go to the Big C or small shops. There are a few small bars in Hai Chau where you will find some Expats to chat with when you are talking to yourself in English after a few days. On Friday it's Independence day in Vietnam and there will be a lot of people in the streets in Saigon and Ha Noi and major fireworks. Are you sure you want to stay in Da Nang for that? Maybe they have some fireworks by the Dragon Bridge or something but it's great doing rooftop parties for it in the big cities. Cheers !!
