I can feel for you. I’m Canadian living in Japan. From my experience living in the countryside of Japan, it is often very difficult to connect with people and develop friendships and/or relationships. I rarely ever meet other foreigners here. I often never have a chance to have a conversation in English. Sometimes, less than one time a year. Japan is very socially isolating.

Great video in that I am planning a 6 week Asia trip this spring and as always need to trim back the itinerary. I have not been to Vietnam yet and this trip was only going to introduce me to Vietnam. So I was only planning on flying into Hoi Ann to go to Da Nang and then fly out to Cambodia and Thailand. Is Da Nang as special as it seems or should I focus on another section of Vietnam?....and yes I really want to skip the two major cities of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi I think.

Other than that, I’m not jabbed and don’t wanna jump thru govt hoops to go overseas and get a useless pcr test. I can now go to the Philippines, but gotta spend 5 days in hotel quarantine, only get let out if test negative, then spend 14 days at home quarantine. Blood stupid if ya ask me. What’s the go in Vietnam for unvaxed foreigners like myself?

I am checking the requirements for updates daily. Take your lady to one of those 3 countries if you want to get away from aus for a while. ✌️
