Unbelievable. I am totally in shock. I was there in 1969-1970 at Marble Mountain that began as a US Navy/Marine airfield then was turned over to the US Army. I couldn't recognize any landmark in your video. It truly has evolved into a beautiful place.
Another thing: You should tell the owner to look into growing some ivy on a wooden lattice a couple of centimeters in front of the wall exposed to the sun during the day. This way, the building can be kept cooler and less electricity will be needed to keep the apartment cool and comfortable.
With 650US in Thailand you will get 2BR, spectacular views, high end amenities, co working space, a theater, karaoke bar, meeting rooms, sauna and onsen , infinity pool, Netflix and free wi-fi!
Thanks a lot! Indeed, Vietnam is a great place to be right now, even though many people are leaving and Da Nang feels a bit "empty". But hopefully next year, things will go back to normal a bit more.
If you can afford the price (since Da Nang is a tourist spot so it tend to be more expensive), Da Nang is the exellent choice, far superior than Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh city
I love these kinds of videos. I'm a Viet Kieu, living in Los Angeles. I used to visit periodically. But the last time was 2004. And so I'm amazed by the changes. I'm interested in going back for an extended stay. My work allows me to work anywhere. How did you contract this place? Did you book beforehand? Or did you just land and start looking around?
Hi NinjaNinh, You should tell the owner of the complex to install double-glazing or triple-glazing window panes to completely block out any outside noise from construction activities or from the traffic. It should not cost the owner a lot to do.
Thanks for the info....one suggestion....your background music at times makes it difficult to hear what you are saying...Again thanks for the great info
check out Moon Hotel. I stayed there for over 1 year and loved it! I created this notion page for them to make it easier for people to check out their place: moon-hotel.notion.site/Welcome-to-Moon-Hotel-Apartments-249bf534e0fe4834b5ec10d39ac591a7 (I don't make any commission) If you decide to stay there, send my regards to Ms Huong :)
I havent updated the latest info in a while so prices may not be as accurate. but the photos should give you a glimpse of what you get and you can see the contact info. Enjoy Da Nang. I hope to be back one day when traveling is easier
@@sayhininh Yes I see but it was very good to get an impression! And nowadays travelling it is very hard to predict any prices ... We found a great place for around 300 USD in our first day here 🙌
Does the price include the facilities fee for the use of gym, pool, car park etc. In Singapore, houses like this cost around 4000 to 5400 rental per month and we have to pay for the use of the facilities which is around 450.
Hey, sorry for the late reply, but for some reason, I didn't get the notification :/ This is the great thing about facilities in Da Nang, everything is included in the price. For this property, the use of the gym, pool, coffee downstairs, washing machines, sauna, steam bath, 2x cleaning per week was included in the monthly rent. The only thing that you had to pay extra was the electricity. Pretty good deal!
Hey Alex, the buildings in Vietnam in general have very thin walls and therefore, noise can easily travel. In this particular building, I could hear when someone took a shower in the morning because the bathroom was right next to the bedroom. this was pretty annoying to be honest. Here is a tip: choose apartments where the bedroom is located at the outer walls of a building. If not possible, make sure the bedroom is not close to the kitchen, living room or bath room.
Hey, sorry. I haven't been on youtube in a while. Oven are not very typical in asia in general. Most apartments rather have a microwave, but I understand that's not the same 😅 However, our friends ordered a portable oven from lazada for little money and it was good for things like brownies and cookies.
are you allowed to make these service apartments more personal, for example get pictures on the wall or something like that? cuz it looks pretty clean like a hotel room or is it just your personal preference? really nice video, looks like a very beautiful place to live in! ☀️
Hey George, I know a lot of (foreign) people having pets in their apartments without a problem. Even a lot of Vietnamese people have dogs. In this particular apartment from my video, I'm not sure. Before moving into an apartment, I would make sure to ask and agree with the landlord. If you rent an entire house, chances are higher that you are allowed to keep pets compared to an apartment because owners want to avoid other tenants to complain because of potential noise. Also important: lately, a lot of people reporting their dogs missing. So just be aware and extra careful.
It can get pretty expensive if you leave it on 24/7. We use electricity during the night and for a few hours during the day. On average, we pay 1.2 - 1.5 mill VND = 65USD / month. Not sure if that's expensive for you :D. As a general rule, most apartments charge 3500 VND / unit. anything more than that is too expensive.
Yes, you need a license in any country. Whether people obey by the law or not, is another question. To be safe, you can drive a 50cc without a license. But double check official sources for this pls.

Now, the construction and change of Danang is very strange. You come to believe 🤣🤣
The people of Da Nang go far away and come back for a long time, still surprised.
Dude - your vid showed up in my "suggested" feed. You need to make more videos! You're a natural, man. I encourage you to continue sharing.

Great video! Hope to get back to Danang as soon as the borders re-open. In the meantime, I'll spend the winter in Canada. Really enjoy seeing Vietnam.

@@TakeTimeToTravel oh yeah, prime time for Da Nang is may-july. hope you can make it here next year.
No one knows for sure
Thanks for the info. Great to see different perspectives about what's out there. Thinking of moving to Hanoi but Da Nang is in the mix. Safe travels!

Nice details in your video. Enjoyed learning about Da Nang even though I have been there before.
I would say that is quite luxurious, too bad you couldn't stay there long. Hope your new place will make you both even happier.
Are apartments usually pretty well sound proofed for the city noise? Asking because my wife is very sensitive to noise

Hi NinjaNinh,

Owners don’t typically replace windows at renters request.

Hi Ninh, please do a tour on your new apartment. Thanks
YES! Haven't forgotten about it, but didn't manage to do it until now. Hopefully in the next 1-2 weeks.
So luxurious! Sad your moving out
Which real estate agent did you go through.
We didn't use an agent. We always search apartments on Google maps and get in touch via WhatsApp directly to arrange visits.

Wow $650 is dirt cheap. My mortgage is $3800 a month. Should just move Danang my birth place ❤️. You’re a sweet looking couple

Sure if if you can make the same salary as you do in the US.
