you could do something so similar at home just by splitting your hair down the middle and pulling it all to the front over your chest, and then cutting straight across. when you put it to the back it’ll be a V because of the over direction. just point cut any of the clunky bits. when i cut my own hair at home for the very first time that’s how i did it, and i essentially got this look aside from the face framing area
All you have to do is bend at the waist, comb hair straight to floor, and cut straight across. Only cut off until all layered hair is straight across. It will have layers and the back curve.
I concur! I haven’t had anyone cut my hair in many years many many years! I’ve done my hair this way every since I heard Farrah Fawcett speak about how she first cut her hair this way, and then went to our hairstylist and told him how she did it and then he took credit for creating the Farrah Fawcett style. I cut my hair like this for so many years and had so many wonderful compliments on my hair through the years.
i wish to see some V bangs on someone someday, i’m hoping people get back into having edgy/weird/fun haircuts instead of the same long waves, part of me thought maybe she’d take this to the extreme and add V bangs, slightly disappointed but it still looks so cute! (my hair is so thin/fine that blunt bangs don’t work well on me so i have to hope someone else will do it lol)
I decided to cut my hair at home with what could only be the worlds dullest scissors. Didn’t mean to make it a V but somehow it came out that way. Kind of funny seeing someone do it properly (and way less choppily!).
I had a friend with hair like hers that wanted this exact cut and saw a stylist do it on another client. She came back to the same salon, same stylist and referenced the cut, so she figured that she would get it. The stylist gave her some rounded clunky cut instead.
If you don’t want layers and just want the length cut. Section your hair in 4 sections, the front two are from the top of the head the ear. The back sections are just split evenly in half. Start at the bottom and work your way up bringing both sides to the front to see where you cut. Once you’ve cut all the back to an even length, bring small piece of the back length to the front so you can make the front sections even and then you’re done!
“Don’t ever forget this image!” 😳 That VB pic is my go to pic for a bob, but that backwards pic had me rolling 😂😂 Love the way the cut turned out.
Please 😂 I need the emoji 😭
This lady has nice, rich, thick hair. It was the best choice for such a cut. She looks amazing!
You are a talented teacher!!!!!!
this was THE haircut of 2005 to 2008
We all had this in the 2000s and it grew out horrible
She disappeared when she turned sideways

I scrolled to see if anyone else noticed.
I dont like how thin this made the hair. The body is gone. Was beautiful before
The finished styled cut looked nice.❤

Removes way too much hair... Nothing left from the side. 😮

PERFECT haircut!!! Doing it on my daughter tomorrow!! Thanks !😊
She’s so skinny I thought it was an illusion when she turned sideways. 😂😂
Unclean version of the horseshoe vintage cut, but with frizziness you try to avoid daily,...🤣
These cuts ruin the hair. Makes it easier to get split ends.
You mean the emo style from early 90s-2000 ? Lol 😂all you have to do is tease it and it’s the same
STUUUNNNNNING❣️❣️❣️😄🤗🥰😁
Love it❤❤
Yeah, she definitely looked like she was about to cry
2000s coming back

V shape is nice for ladies with thick hair to thin it out. Not really pretty on thin hair...
Love this
My thin hair-a$$ sparse hair-a$$ could never
I sported this in the 80s
