I am SO SOO glad I came across this tutorial. it's absolutely amazing and I had my mom cut my bangs in minutes. This is probably the best curtain bangs tutorial to do at home. By far the best curtain bang tutorial for someone with my straight hair! I even bought the dryer and wasn't a complete fool using it after 20 years of letting my hair air dry! Love this because every time (every 5 years) I go to get them cut, they screw it up. This is perfect.

I did this tut and it worked out so well!!! This was my first time cutting my hair by myself so I was really nervous but I felt like if I do it myself and I messed it up I can always go to a professional but if I end up doing it right then I just saved myself some cash lol. I have a round face shape and I started off with a side part my whole life so switching from that to a mid part and curtain bangs sounded pretty scary but I just told myself I only live once haha
So I made the same size triangle as hers but I didn't have as much hair cuz mine was thinner.
I started with that small section and cut where my chin was cuz I didn't want it to be too short just in case I messed up and then followed through with the rest of the tut.
Like I said before I didn't have to use the sheer scissors cuz my hair was thin enough to blend easily.
I didn't use the heated round brush so instead I used a regular round brush (about 2-3 in. in diameter) and blow dried my damp bangs while wrapping them around the brush.
They ended up the same poofiness as hers and all I had to do was come through it with my fingers to blend it out with the rest of my hair!!!
You guys should definitely try this tutorial and believe me, I get that ur pretty nervous and might flop it up but you have to just go for it!!

I did it and it looks great but for anyone doing this I’ve thicker hair and had the look before so I knew it wouldn’t look super awful, I also cut it longer than I thought just to be sure because it can get shorter when you mess up or adjust it, if you have thinner hair and don’t cut it long enough I don’t know if it will work as well x

Just cut my hair with this tutorial! I love it but my hair is very thin and my parting makes one side thicker than the other but when I try to change my parting, it just bounces back so I gave up with changing it! But I love it even tho one side is really thick and the other is thin! Thanks for a great tutorial ❤

What needs to be added to this tutorial is texture of hair, how thick their hair is and or thin their hair is, the appropriate professional tools to be used, how much hair they have in that triangle section, elevation of the sectioning, if their hair is thin they may not need a thinning shear at all. If you've never done this before and you are nervous about it, do not do it and go to a professional! All in all I'tsnot a bad tutorial but it's best left to the professional!!!!!!
