I love that you resonate with cutting your hair. I’m in the middle. I no longer trust your average hairstylist. I think it’s amazing to do it yourself, but it would be really great if I could find a confident hairstylist that likes what they’re doing. ❤
Great hair cutting video! I have been debatting whether to cut curtain bangs or to leave my all one length bob alone. I'm still not sure but I'm planning to re-watch this video when I'm ready. You look great!!!❤
Sadly, my hair started breaking off a few weeks after using that product, too. My hair is long and fine, but I had a lot of it. My ponytail is thinner and sad now, but now I know for sure it was that product my new stylist used on me that damaged it. I've never trusted people with my hair and now I regret trusting a stylist after 35 years of cutting and coloring my own hair. Never again! I love your sassy, flirty bangs and can't wait to try it! Thank you for sharing your fun experience!! ❤
Thanks for the styling tutorial too, I have short hair with curtain bangs and have been trying just to round brush them to get them to flip and your method works so much better!
It’s like you read my mind… I’m on the verge of a mental breakdown and am having the urge to cut some bangs 😂 hooooooly hellllllllll yours turned out AMAZING 🔥
Cute "do", Mallory! Interesting about your hair's reaction to K18. I am having good luck with it. I guess everyone's hair is unique and reacts differently. Some people love Olaplex and some hate it. But your hair always looks great!
They looked great with layers graduated towards the cheek. I have shoulder length hair . I would like long lengths all over with some textured layers of different lengths length hair . From the cheek take a small a thinnish layer and graduate it towards the throat . Then 2 levels of hair at the front with the bottom third blunt cut because my hair is frizzy so l dont want the hair at the bottom looking straggly. Two tiers of layers. The curtain bang at cheek extending into side maybe and texturising the end of the layer maybe point cut blending and the 2nd layer starting at throat level and the rest of the side blunt cut. I can show a photo to the hair desighner. The slide cutting , pointing are advanced so worried about finding a skilled hair cutter. bottom graduat
Looks lovely. You did a great job cutting your bangs. Love your bob as well. I've wanted to try a long angled bob for a long time. Im to scared to do it, my hair is passed my waist.
oh em geeee girl! I would trade places with you if I could! I've been trying to grow my hair out for years but it's been one thing after the other. I miss long hair so much, I miss the styling options, but I really do love my bob or shorter haircuts too ❤️
Akk yoy had to do was section as you did and THEN right before u cut TWIST that middle section ONCE snd then cut. The the you release the twist y ou will have perfect angled bangs!
Good Job! but I couldn't do it, I always would louse it up when I had bangs, but you have to know yourself, if you cut them too short, then it takes a while to grow out! You are very talented! Looks great on you! Love, wendy
I didnt have great results with K18 either, but I love Olaplex. I have naturally curly hair and I know a lot of other curly girlies who had similar results with K18 as myself. My hair is protein sensitive and K18 made ny hair feel similar to when I've over used a protein hair mask.
@@ImMalloryBrooke I'm always happy to hear that I'm not the only one. After watching a good amount of videos and talking to people, my personal consenus is that K18 is wonderful for those people born, and blessed, wiith straighter hair that dries gorgeous right out the shower, and has more of a sealed cuticle. Us with dryer curlier hair and an open cuticle , especially fine hair curlies, and very textured curly hair that crave moisture, hate it. I know the cliche that "the grass is always greener on the other side." But those sealed cuticle men & women wouldn't last a week! I'm just kidding. ❤️ I naturally have about 3b curls and the only hairstylists who have ever cut my hair correctly have been black woman. They understand when you want to save that length and are honest about it when it's time to let it go. if you know what I mean. My hairdresser hates K18 and says that most of her friends and family with textured hair hate it too. They also felt like it ruined their hair. Anyway, I'm not an expert or infallible, so I could be wrong, but those are my conclusions. I acrually prefered the Redken Acidic Bonding Treatment Line over K18, but I can't use it daily or it has similar effects. It's probably all in the science (which I haven't really dug into with K18, so shame on me,) and because companies cannot copy Olaplex. Anyway, I randomly found your channel this past Friday and I love it. ❤️ Keep being amazing and rock on!
Looks so cute! Good job 👍 Also, don't know anything about K18, I'm guessing it's a protein treatment? If so a hairdresser told me before to be careful of too much protein, that it will cause breakage.
Hey girl! I just wanted to leave you a quick comment about a video you did about 3 years ago…I recently found your channel and I also became a member, so I am going back and binging your content. The video I just watched was your “First Date” video, where you take yourself to the cemetery. I did a spit take when you said cemeteries are your favourite place to go, but of course, no one wants to accompany you on your journey…girl! I wish we lived near each other! Graveyards have been my FAVE place to go and take black and white photographs, meditate, breathe, and take a beat to control the pain I am usually in (have an auto-immune disorder as well, Crohn’s Disease with chronic pain syndrome). I find them beautiful and the most peaceful places. One of my cherished spots is a small graveyard near Jasoer, Alberta, Canada, which is a gorgeous town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains (I am Canadian). Oh, I’d love to take you. I have been going to graveyards and just hanging out day or night since I was around 8, so that’s about 4 decades ago! Anyway, I love when I find another enthusiast. I wonder what it is that speaks to us about them?? I know they help me just quiet a busy mind and an often pain riddled body..,do you get a similar benefit while visiting them? I also love finding older graveyards with the beautiful tombstones, marble statues, and family mausoleums. Anyway, sorry this isn’t a comment on your video, but if I didn’t already have bangs, I would totally follow your tutorial. Very informative and easy to follow, detailed instructions! I am off to continue making my way through all the content discovering you has opened up for me! Thanks for all your effort and I hope you are well physically, emotionally, and mentally!❤Dawn PS …turns out the comment wasn’t so quick!!😂
Why do you think your hair started breaking after using k18? I somehow noticed the same thing but I thought it was because of bleaching, but it is also true that I’ve been bleaching my hair for 20 years now and this is the first time I experience such a breakage!! (Despite I take good care of my hair too)
I think you look beautiful. I bet you are beautiful, but I have curly hair and I just air dry it and I would like face framing without any kind of heating iron or blowers because I don’t use those. Do you have anything curly with any good ideas please let us know.
OMG! I just realized that the inside of your right arm is the lyrics to It is well with My soul! My favorite hymn of all time cuz I've been through some shit, I'm sure u have. And I've looked at your tattoos and thought, wow those are all something I would get and your personality just seems really cool like, I vibe with you girl! If you're also a Virgo, then I'm trippin. I used to cut hair clearly you have some type of knowledge in the hair world. I'm seeing these things because I'm in a rough spot in my life and I have a lot of creative talents but they're not really getting me anywhere. And then I see you just doing your thing and it inspires me. Thanks for being yourself always! ❤😊
If you twist bangs after finding length, then cut, then take the bang up towards the top of headc, then cut 2 finger widths it will give you a light fluffy fringe!
might be an issue with parting, you may have to just train your hair to stay in a certain spot. if that’s the case, the best way to do it is to wet it, get the hair where u want it, and blow dry it down so it stays
😮😳 ❤ MALLORY ❤ Since I was traumatized by a barber as a kid (he chopped off all my pretty long hair), and I remember your haircut trauma too -- I read your title and was like "no, not the scissors??!" 😱🫤😧 But then you explained the breakage and I'm thinking, maybe it's necessary and will be okay...🫣🤔 So I watched probably holding my breath lol 😊... and voila you nailed it!! Whew! 🎉😁😍⭐ They look very cute and stylish. 🤩 Just don't cut too much more hopefully. 🙃😉 Thanks for your videos. ❤😘🙂

“Not your average wham-bam here’s your bangs video.. I’m here for you, not just to make content.” It shows, and thank you for that! 💖😘
Love the look. Was holding my breath, hoping you would go shorter in the very middle. Not too short!🎉🎉
I prefer to say " Bham-bang thank you Mam"
Mate watched ya video and now my daughter has bangs and they are bang on, not bad for a solo dad , appreciate the help mate and love the ink too
I LOVE this!!! Give your daughter a big hug from me✂️ I hope she’s loving her new bangs💇♀️
I’ve maintained my curtain bangs at home, and they really elevate the look of my hair 🥰 bangs look gorgeous on you!
Why can’t we be neighbors?! Honestly, we would have the best time! You nailed this bangs cut. I’m living for your look. Love ❤
🤣 thanks girl
SOOOO bomb! They look really good girl. And I personally love your haircut on you, you wear it sooo well ♡

Beautiful and perfect, Mallory! I do my bangs myself too - but I also use a “Bango”. Got it at Ulta ages ago. Great helper.
🤣 bango I love the name!
It’s like you read my mind… I’m on the verge of a mental breakdown and am having the urge to cut some bangs 😂 hooooooly hellllllllll yours turned out AMAZING 🔥
You look stunning in bangs! Great look!!
I discovered your channel a long time ago because you had videos about styling hair with bangs! 12:56 Love it! You look amazing!
I just trimmed my bangs, but I twisted it & it came out great!

Love, love, love your bangs!
Really pretty. Cool tutorial. I have done bangs too recently and am absolutely happy with them.
No pageboy… I love the end result You did a great job, thanks for not rushing through the video and taking your time❤

Thanks! You look a awesome!!! I got the bad Bob about month ago and now I am left fending for myself. This showed me how to fix!!

Just wondering if this bang is good for long hair ( 22 inches long )
I'm glad you did this slowly. They look great
❤️ Glad you like them!

Really cute. I cut my bangs to straight across, so now I know how to fringe them.
awesome, you'll have to let us know how it goes!
Mallory always gives a great tutorial. Perfection
Looks great, would love to try this. Colored my hair last week. Not pleased with it. Supposed to be dark blonde turned out to be red cast.
colour it again with the same colour
Will give this a go after my job interview on Wednesday because I’m in no mood to be cutting a botched haircut and making a fool out of myself 😂
So, if you have thick hair and nothing to worry about, you can cut further back?? (on the top of your head)
Yes, not going to far back to get bangs is critical. I did that and it really thinned my sides way to much. Took forever to grow back out
ugh YES bangs grow out can be grueling!
I had my doubts when you started, but it turned out adorable.
I love watching Mallory’s videos ❤
Thank you love!!! Good morning from Arkansas🗻
Great tutorial! I made my bangs right after and love how they look.
I walked the walk of shame several times this year. 😂 you had me in stitches with that remark!

Mallory would you recommend this bang cut for thin hair? 💗
Absolutely! I have fine thin hair, and it works beautifully ❤️
Great tips! Your giving me Elvira( Michelle Pfeiferr) from Scarface vibes!👌🏽
I think your hair would be really pretty grown out. You have such talent when it comes to styling.
I just found you by chance and I love your energy! Your bangs are beautiful 🎉

Pretty Nice, you took your time and went back and cut more, Great Job!!!❤
K 18 is a protein, it can break your hair off if used too much. Same with olaplex and any other protein treatment. Use hydrating products.
You did great! It is soooo cute! Thank you for sharing this with us love!
You look just like young Deborah Harry when she had bangs with a bob in the 70s or 80s -- very cool
Your bangs look really good you did a good job.

I am so sorry the K-18 was so bad for you!! But I’m not sorry that it led to nice retro bangs 😊
Thanks for another great video. Tami
No hair breakage with K18 but I did get breakage with keratin treatment .
They look awesome
The best solution for my breakage has been Dove conditioner. Lots of the expensive stuff breaks hairs off, or clogs pores and it falls out I find.
I experienced breakage too! So frustrating!
Btw, I use Olaplex and only Olaplex. I’m glad you spoke up about K18. It doesn’t work for everybody.
It looks really pretty ❤❤love it! 😊
thanks girl 🥰 hope it helps you
Looks great. Good job 😊
Love it and very helpful❤
Love it! Thanks for the tutorial.

Your hair doesn’t look fried or exceptionally damaged. Because you’re blonde you could use Davines NouNou shampoo and conditioner that is made for fine, dry and brittle hair.
