I love that you resonate with cutting your hair. I’m in the middle. I no longer trust your average hairstylist. I think it’s amazing to do it yourself, but it would be really great if I could find a confident hairstylist that likes what they’re doing. ❤

Sadly, my hair started breaking off a few weeks after using that product, too. My hair is long and fine, but I had a lot of it. My ponytail is thinner and sad now, but now I know for sure it was that product my new stylist used on me that damaged it. I've never trusted people with my hair and now I regret trusting a stylist after 35 years of cutting and coloring my own hair. Never again! I love your sassy, flirty bangs and can't wait to try it!
Thank you for sharing your fun experience!! ❤

Hey girl! I just wanted to leave you a quick comment about a video you did about 3 years ago…I recently found your channel and I also became a member, so I am going back and binging your content. The video I just watched was your “First Date” video, where you take yourself to the cemetery. I did a spit take when you said cemeteries are your favourite place to go, but of course, no one wants to accompany you on your journey…girl! I wish we lived near each other! Graveyards have been my FAVE place to go and take black and white photographs, meditate, breathe, and take a beat to control the pain I am usually in (have an auto-immune disorder as well, Crohn’s Disease with chronic pain syndrome). I find them beautiful and the most peaceful places. One of my cherished spots is a small graveyard near Jasoer, Alberta, Canada, which is a gorgeous town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains (I am Canadian). Oh, I’d love to take you. I have been going to graveyards and just hanging out day or night since I was around 8, so that’s about 4 decades ago! Anyway, I love when I find another enthusiast. I wonder what it is that speaks to us about them?? I know they help me just quiet a busy mind and an often pain riddled body..,do you get a similar benefit while visiting them? I also love finding older graveyards with the beautiful tombstones, marble statues, and family mausoleums. Anyway, sorry this isn’t a comment on your video, but if I didn’t already have bangs, I would totally follow your tutorial. Very informative and easy to follow, detailed instructions! I am off to continue making my way through all the content discovering you has opened up for me! Thanks for all your effort and I hope you are well physically, emotionally, and mentally!❤Dawn
PS …turns out the comment wasn’t so quick!!😂

They looked great with layers graduated towards the cheek. I have shoulder length hair . I would like long lengths all over with some textured layers of different lengths length hair . From the cheek take a small a thinnish layer and graduate it towards the throat .
Then 2 levels of hair at the front with the bottom third blunt cut because my hair is frizzy so l dont want the hair at the bottom looking straggly.
Two tiers of layers. The curtain bang at cheek extending into side maybe and texturising the end of the layer maybe point cut blending and the 2nd layer starting at throat level and the rest of the side blunt cut. I can show a photo to the hair desighner.
The slide cutting , pointing are advanced so worried about finding a skilled hair cutter.
      bottom graduat

If cutting your hair while wet remember our hair shrinks when it dries and the cut will be shorter then exspected.
Here's a good tip to try hold your bangs straight up Inbetween your fingers with the scissors facing downwards snip little tiny pieces at a time its called point cutting.
Another tip I've learned over the years with cutting hair .
2nd tip try you won't regret it.
    "Not your bangs" but
the rest of the longer length of your hair Take a part of the top layer cut about less then a quarter inch off to start with cut straight then upright point cut. Also you can use thinning sheers ONLY ON THE TIPS OF YOUR HAIR going straight across do what's comfortable for you once you get it down you will see it brings texturize balance definition to your hair. ❤ just some ideas for you. By the way great job looks nice as is ❤

@@ImMalloryBrooke I'm always happy to hear that I'm not the only one. After watching a good amount of videos and talking to people, my personal consenus is that K18 is wonderful for those people born, and blessed, wiith straighter hair that dries gorgeous right out the shower, and has more of a sealed cuticle. Us with dryer curlier hair and an open cuticle , especially fine hair curlies, and very textured curly hair that crave moisture, hate it. I know the cliche that "the grass is always greener on the other side." But those sealed cuticle men & women wouldn't last a week! I'm just kidding. ❤️
I naturally have about 3b curls and the only hairstylists who have ever cut my hair correctly have been black woman. They understand when you want to save that length and are honest about it when it's time to let it go. if you know what I mean. My hairdresser hates K18 and says that most of her friends and family with textured hair hate it too. They also felt like it ruined their hair.
Anyway, I'm not an expert or infallible, so I could be wrong, but those are my conclusions. I acrually prefered the Redken Acidic Bonding Treatment Line over K18, but I can't use it daily or it has similar effects. It's probably all in the science (which I haven't really dug into with K18, so shame on me,) and because companies cannot copy Olaplex.
Anyway, I randomly found your channel this past Friday and I love it. ❤️ Keep being amazing and rock on!

Hairdresser here. The thing about k-18 and olaplex is that they aren’t meant for maintenance. Olaplex gave us such bad education and came out with all these products saying that we could use it all the time everytime. And it’s not true. And I assume the same is true with k18. My opinion is that these are salon services. And if your hair is severely damaged then you take home an olaplex 3 or the k18 take home.
Your hair doesn’t look fried or exceptionally damaged. Because you’re blonde you could use Davines NouNou shampoo and conditioner that is made for fine, dry and brittle hair.

    • @ImMalloryBrooke

My hair is extremely healthy, and I’ve never had a problem with Olaplex, and I love it. I love the in salon service as well as the product line. K18 however…terrible. I’ve never felt my hair so brittle in my life! My mom was a hairstylist, so I developed a real love for the industry and hair products in general…in all my years i’ve never tried anything so terrible for my hair.

Hey hon, I am using K18 too. How much & often did you use? Now I am scared. 😮 BTW, you are so beautiful, you could pull off a Pageboy, but I like it longer on you…lol….😂

I will personally never use it again😢 I used it twice within two weeks, and my hair broke off terribly.

Ok I’m here because years ago I grew my bob one length…then of course cut my bangs at home 😅and I noticed it was too thin! But I tried to explain to stylist hey I cut them too forward hoping she’d re section my hair to fix them but I guess I wasn’t speaking hair dresser 😢 if you cut them too close they look thinning ehhh sooo that’s why I’m here!! Thx for your REAL help!! 🤷‍♀️
