My favorite is the one about the paraplegic sister who dialed her phone with a pencil in her mouth so she can talk to random people about Jehovah. They used this one quite a lot in the 80s. I enjoy your videos, thank you. I was a JW for nearly 40 years. I actually thought I had found what I was looking for. I worked very long hours, but unfortunately, due to injuries over the years, it got to a stage I couldn't work anymore. This gave me more time to do more research in my personal studies and getting my public talks prepared. During my research, I started to find things out about the teachings of the Watchtower. I started to question their teachings and saw just how they twisted the bibles message in order to fit their false doctrines. During a discussion with a couple of elders, one of them mentioned a brother who was sailing close to apostasy. I said that he was entitled to question whatever he thought was relevant to him. I then said to these elders the following. "TRUTH DOES NOT MIND BEING QUESTIONED. HOWEVER. A LIE DOES NOT LIKE BEING CHALLENGED. " This went down like a lead balloon. And I told them that I had something that has always stuck in my mind, and it was this. "JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Was not God against human sacrifice? Yet he sacrificed his own son? If God loved the world ( his earthly children ), so much, WHY DID HE CAST SATAN DOWN TO EARTH? I got no comment from these elders. Two weeks later, I put in my letter of resignation, stating that I no longer want to be a member of this religious organisation because they teach false teaching in order to back up their doctrines. My wife and I have been free for ten months now ok one of our children no longer speaks to us this shows just how controlling this organisation is. To those who are having doubts about this corrupt false religion and are thinking about leaving Break free of their grip and feel real freedom without them breathing over your shoulder. Enjoy your life without them.
I am 40 years old, so you guys had been in for as long as I've been alive - but you are free now! And I am glad to hear it. I was raised in it, left permanently in 2006 even as I was still married to a believing JW (divorced 4 years later), whom I married at 20 - unfortunately. We all have a story to tell - as for me, my mother showed her true colors 3 years ago. After my dad died due to a tragic accident in 2010, she chose to keep contact with me, but it turns out it was only so she could have occasional help with handyman projects around her house. I grew weary of hearing "come back" all the time, and after one message to her on the anniversary of my dad's death in 2020, she did it again. I told myself at that point that I'd had enough, and I've never spoken to her again since. She hasn't tried to contact me either, hence revealing who she really is. She is 70 this year and will probably be in until she dies. Good riddance!
I find what you say very odd. When I was "new" in study, I researched EVERY THING I WAS LEARNING. AND I found their BIBLE TEACHINGS ACCURATE. Since we all XJW"S were once JW I think we can say " the individual witness maybe a really nice person" BUT the same argument could be made for the German citizens who supported Hitler and turned a blind eye to what was happening to not only the Jews but others. I know that maybe a little dramatic but you get the idea. When CRIMES are being committed, child abuse, blood transfusion issue, shunning which has lead many to kill themselves, domestic abuse, the average witness may feel "that doesn't seem right" but they also turn a blind eye. I have family that are very active, elders, lifelong pioneers, etc. who say they don't agree with the things I mentioned BUT it is Jehovah's Organization and he will straighten it out in his own time. SO in both examples folks are dying. They are not being thrown into concentration camps, starved, tortured of course but some would argue they are mentally and emotionally being starved through shunning which for some leads to literal death. The same could be said for domestic abuse, not allowing blood transfusions and so on. Where the people in Germany really aware of what was going on within the ranks of the Nazi Regime? Did they have an idea and turn a blind eye? Food for thought.

Reinforcement is a known tactic used by cults all over the world including the watchtower. So one of the reasons the watchtower is using this video over and over again in the course of several years is to reinforce their message into the minds of naïve Jehovah’s Witnesses. Their selling point or propaganda tactic is simple and clear: Faithfulness to the watchtower brings Jehovah's blessings and moves him to help witnesses to stay faithful to the watchtower even in the face of persecution as portrayed in the video. The watchtower has successfully used this selling point throughout the ages and will continue to use it because it works for those who are not awaken and don’t know “the truth about the truth”. But this is pure propaganda as we have come to know. Many Jehovah’s witnesses have been killed inside their kingdom halls during their worship to God. Were those witnesses who lost their lives in this manner less faithful to the watchtower and to Jehovah God than the man portrayed in the current video? Why is the watchtower not creating a video of those who died in the kingdom hall and showing it over and over again? Because it is harder to sell the benefits of the loyalty to the Watchtower using this kind of experience.

Repeat a thought or narrative to an individual that you want to control and/or influence, and eventually that person develops "Trauma Bonds" and is Codependent and believes "the lies" (fantasy)over any possible fact-based evidence to the contrary. Ive been out of this cult for 25 years but im so confused, the watchtower was a small monthly magazine studied on sundays, not its own entity it was published along with everything else by minesterial servants in bethel new york, there was a governing body, circuit overseers, and elders, pioneers and all kinds of other goobly gook, but i never remember anyone ever worshiping the watchtower in the way you describe, albiet an absolute cult propeganda rag.
There was no one in attendance at the convention where I was brought up to go. I got stood up after planning on meeting friends and didn't get a single response back after walking home barefoot because my strap was broken on my shoe 😢

The rinse and repeat of stories seems designed to "encourage" in some ways. But what pops into my heard which is just a thought, nothing more, is that they are constantly looking for all the ways they are persecuted. I don't think they are persecuted that much but they want to use fear to make it sound like they are constantly under the gun. When in fact, it is not that common world wide. There are hundred of thousands of Ex JWs that have lost all family and friends because they chose to exercise their freedom of religion. The WT is far more often the persecutor than the persecuted. Like you I don't have much sympathy for the Governing Body and their cries of persecution and being ill done by. Because they are not the victims in most cases, but they certainly are the victimizers with their policies and promotion of cruelty toward others who feel that they are not the true religion. They lied and tried to pin some bullshit on me that I had no knowledge of and they said my name was Thalina, like I had made up some alias. Two weeks later, I put in my letter of resignation, stating that I no longer want to be a member of this religious organisation because they teach false teaching in order to back up their doctrines. My wife and I have been free for ten months now ok one of our children no longer speaks to us this shows just how controlling this organisation is. To those who are having doubts about this corrupt false religion and are thinking about leaving Break free of their grip and feel real freedom without them breathing over your shoulder. I am 40 years old, so you guys had been in for as long as I've been alive - but you are free now! And I am glad to hear it. I was raised in it, left permanently in 2006 even as I was still married to a believing JW (divorced 4 years later), whom I married at 20 - unfortunately. We all have a story to tell - as for me, my mother showed her true colors 3 years ago. After my dad died due to a tragic accident in 2010, she chose to keep contact with me, but it turns out it was only so she could have occasional help with handyman projects around her house. I grew weary of hearing "come back" all the time, and after one message to her on the anniversary of my dad's death in 2020, she did it again. I told myself at that point that I'd had enough, and I've never spoken to her again since. She hasn't tried to contact me either, hence revealing who she really is. She is 70 this year and will probably be in until she dies. Good riddance!

Wally, great catch on same footage. Since we all XJW"S were once JW I think we can say " the individual witness maybe a really nice person" BUT the same argument could be made for the German citizens who supported Hitler and turned a blind eye to what was happening to not only the Jews but others. I know that maybe a little dramatic but you get the idea. When CRIMES are being committed, child abuse, blood transfusion issue, shunning which has lead many to kill themselves, domestic abuse, the average witness may feel "that doesn't seem right" but they also turn a blind eye. I have family that are very active, elders, lifelong pioneers, etc. who say they don't agree with the things I mentioned BUT it is Jehovah's Organization and he will straighten it out in his own time. SO in both examples folks are dying. They are not being thrown into concentration camps, starved, tortured of course but some would argue they are mentally and emotionally being starved through shunning which for some leads to literal death. The same could be said for domestic abuse, not allowing blood transfusions and so on. Where the people in Germany really aware of what was going on within the ranks of the Nazi Regime? Did they have an idea and turn a blind eye? Food for thought.

Reinforcement is a known tactic used by cults all over the world including the watchtower. So one of the reasons the watchtower is using this video over and over again in the course of several years is to reinforce their message into the minds of naïve Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Their selling point or propaganda tactic is simple and clear: Faithfulness to the watchtower brings Jehovah's blessings and moves him to help witnesses to stay faithful to the watchtower even in the face of persecution as portrayed in the video.
The watchtower has successfully used this selling point throughout the ages and will continue to use it because it works for those who are not awaken and don’t know “the truth about the truth”. But this is pure propaganda as we have come to know. Many Jehovah’s witnesses have been killed inside their kingdom halls during their worship to God.
Were those witnesses who lost their lives in this manner less faithful to the watchtower and to Jehovah God than the man portrayed in the current video? Why is the watchtower not creating a video of those who died in the kingdom hall and showing it over and over again? Because it is harder to sell the benefits of the loyalty to the Watchtower using this kind of experience.

Ive been out of this cult for 25 years but im so confused, the watchtower was a small monthly magazine studied on sundays, not its own entity it was published along with everything else by minesterial servants in bethel new york, there was a governing body, circuit overseers, and elders, pioneers and all kinds of other goobly gook, but i never remember anyone ever worshiping the watchtower in the way you describe, albiet an absolute cult propeganda rag.
There was no one in attendance at the convention where I was brought up to go. I got stood up after planning on meeting friends and didn't get a single response back after walking home barefoot because my strap was broken on my shoe 😢

The rinse and repeat of stories seems designed to "encourage" in some ways. But what pops into my heard which is just a thought, nothing more, is that they are constantly looking for all the ways they are persecuted. I don't think they are persecuted that much but they want to use fear to make it sound like they are constantly under the gun. When in fact, it is not that common world wide.
There are hundred of thousands of Ex JWs that have lost all family and friends because they chose to exercise their freedom of religion. The WT is far more often the persecutor than the persecuted. Like you I don't have much sympathy for the Governing Body and their cries of persecution and being ill done by. Because they are not the victims in most cases, but they certainly are the victimizers with their policies and promotion of cruelty toward others who feel that they are not the true religion.

Because it's all fake. He never did prison time and it's all a ploy to get people to buy into their illusion. When I went to jail, it was false charges and one night. It might have happened a couple of nights, but the cops brutalized me by coming up behind me and throwing me to the ground knocking me unconscious and my forehead was all scraped up. 2nd time a fat ass bitch cop and her 5 goon cop friends dragged me out of bed in the homeless shelter brought me to the precinct and the fat cunt sat on my back with my hands in hand cuffs behind me and extended my arms all the way up until I passed out in the cell while the men watched and I cried begging to know why I was being arrested. They lied and tried to pin some bullshit on me that I had no knowledge of and they said my name was Thalina, like I had made up some alias. Tell me Wally, when I did that video call with LitWits, was your friend Jonam on the call incognegro? Oops! That's an old phrase my Girlfriends and I would use when someone disappeared or went MIA for a bit. INCOGNITO is what I meant. I know his stalkin ass was on that call now for sure. But he has seen the inside of my place I'm sure with all the access to things he does. I sent him some messages and the butthead won't return my messages and continues to let me guess where he'll be, like I was trained to read minds like him 😏🙃

Hey Wally, when you were talking about having skeletons in the closet, and the image of you sitting with those two skeletons on each side, made me think of how they hide their skeletons. They paint the skeletons green and put them against the green screen. Now you see it now you don’t, they still there but the camouflage by the green screen. Or in their case a smokescreen
