Well, my auntie has died and left all her properties, shares and cash to the society, leaving her family with nothing not even money for her burial. Needless to say, the family are shocked is an understatement as they knew nothing about it. The Governing Bodies greed is disgusting.
There should have been a provision in her will that they (gb/org) should have to pay for her funeral and burial😢 😡🤬 they are horrible to take people like that

Some years ago, My mother wanted to donate the family property. I was waking up around that time and I was like oh hell, no, I put a lot into this myself. Thankfully, I was able to change the course of things. I even finally convinced my mom watchtower was nothing but a cult o’BS lol!

@gbnomore3918 you could've stopped that from happening by getting your lawyer to caveat the families estate. With a caveat in place, nothing can be sold or distributed out until all prospective beneficiaries are first taken into consideration of what's rightfully theirs.

Watchtower is seriously crumbling. The members are seriously over it. Many JWS are waking up and leaving. You can tell there are more PIMOS than active believing JWS. The leadership are begging for members to pioneer just as bad as they beg for money. The guilting, from Lett is seriously pathetic 🙄.
The air has gone out completely out of org. They heading for rough times. Plus they have a leadership thats seems too be clueless about everything.
@charrua59 You are absolutely 💯 correct. The reason why the convention was titled: Patience, is because the members are waking up and have LOST their patience. They are actually seeing how hypocritical and deceptive the leadership are. Mainly the PIMOS. The leadership are really appealing to PIMOS with this convention because they know that they are STUCK & don't want them to leave their families. Shunning effects not only individuals that leave but also the JW family and friends that are believers. The depression that comes with that has an adverse effect on the productivity of the organization. The leadership fully knows this. This is one main reason why Lett is BEGGING for participation. CHRISTIANITY as a whole is going to the way side. All of these cults have the same sick, sinister tactics that keep people enslaved through fear, obligation, and guilt. Religious leaders are the biggest hypocrites of their own doctrines and values 🙄. It's all about money 💰. No one needs religion. They just think they do because it was passed down to most of them for generations. Fortunately, more & more people are waking up to the biggest con job in history. And I thought Bernie Madoff was damn.. good. Unbelievable. This is a very sick and sinister world.

Wally .....I regular pioneered 100 hours a month for 23 years..... raising children and then grandchildren....it was HARD. I'm 91 now and finally free of that demanding organization after 50 years of captivity. Only one child is still in captivity and she's shunning me.
Sorry to hear you wasted 50 yrs of your life to the organization, and lost one child to it. But you're free now, I too have lost both my adult children and now one grandchild to the cult whom I'll never see. I miss them terribly, but I need to toughen up and try to move on without them in my life. I'm 59 yrs old this yr. 💔😥

@gladysbarbour1472 the sad reality is, we don't need religion to make it to heaven. Just as long as we strive to impart love towards our neighbour (everyone we encounter) and love and respect all of God's creations, that is all the praise SHE requires of us, and ensures our place in heaven.

I told a pioneer sister once that I started my time once I got up because me getting ready and prepared counts towards that. I was the “talk of the town” after that and my hall ended up having a local needs on how it’s not appropriate to start your time until the first initial call 🙄

I was JW for twenty years but I was never so ambitious to be a pioneer. I never took seriously some their rules and bible interpretations. I enjoyed studying bible by myself.

I'm allergic to the sun I feel like too! I get heat sick so easily and it made pioneering soooo hard. I got removed from pioneering twice for not making my time because of this issue. The second time, one of the elders was so nasty about it too.
Time consumption is by design. Those 70+ hours a month is on top of ALL the weekly meetings, theocratic ministry school, personal study, preparation for meetings, any special kingdom hall maintenance or renovation projects etc. Cults will always keep their members busy doing 'good works'. By keeping their noses to the grind stone, they cant look up and evaluate their situation, the cult, or its leadership.
🎉 when you’re in the real estate business, free labor is a huge resource, and means absolutely everything. And then to top it off having that free labor get more free labor lol. Religion is a great business.

It’s amazing how many times they tell the story of the king that forgave the debt but the servant that couldn’t. They really like rubbing that one in member’s faces while missing the point of the story.

Just an FYI that as of 3 months ago WT has reduced the hour requirement for pioneers (now 50/mo) and auxiliary pioneers (now 30/mo, or only 15/mo if in a month that the CO visits or they’re doing a special campaign). Of course they sold it in the usual way: end is so close, loving provision from Jehovah, etc. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

But this often happens on RUclips...unless one makes a point of saving . I have however emailed Kim and Mike Brooks to assist me with regard to the question of Ramapo...They usually are right up to date with current events at W/T . . Hopefully I will hear from them in a few days .. in the meantime I will keep up my own search on this matter .. it is very important to me to confirm what I heard..I only wish on this occasion I had saved the video...

Life shouldn’t be this hard-_- I once pioneered too. I wanted to serve in bethel but I got told I would get manic cuz I said I was bipolar. Other than that I also helped cleaned many halls and the assembly hall. House to house return visits and studies. My mom is a regular pioneer now and my dad is a ministerial servant. He’s aggressive and has been violent with my brother and me . Way too much 😅

This reminds me of the old dramas where locals would act out the parts mouthing the words. People probably said something about missing the old dramas, so they decided to make the acting at the same level as it was when Steve and Janet from the neighboring hall were the leads.
How much more time are the governing body putting in for FREE?
I thought the end of this system is right around the corner, so why build movie studios?. That’s their rationale for having kids, getting higher education, enjoying life. You can do all these things in the new system and there wasn’t movie studios in biblical times and the preaching work has been so very effective, they are saving so many lives by pioneering every month, right? I need answers

The reason why witnesses can never do enough to please the organization is because they can never do enough to please JEHOVAH. Recall the scripture that says, in effect, 'after you've done all you can (even given your best) you are to consider yourself a good-for-notjing slave'. i loved the Biblical plays as a child. They were fun to watch. But even at 30 out of the organization I still love Biblical plays and I been out of JW for like 15 years.
They certainly aren’t paying for acting classes that’s for darn sure! 🤣
The acting & quality of this video is at the level of the 90's Christian VCR tapes designed for children. I'd picked up the VCR tapes for next to nothing at garage sales, so I don't know how much they sold for originally, but I'm guessing not much.
