Thank you I do so enjoy your videos. I have been quilting since 1975 so I can say You can teach an old dog new tricks. Watch your videos over and over and have used so many of your hints. Things have changed greatly since a pattern was templates cut from cereal boxes, traced on fabric with #2 pencil, cut with sissors and sewn with a needle and thread by hand. My family looks forward with what I create with all the fancy gagets and machines. Thank you,
I have never used sewing machine in my life but after watching Donna's tutoral, i am so pleased and have already finished 2 projects at home. Donna the way you explain is so inspiring and helpful that makes our project as a beginer to complete is easier. I always watch your tutorials and have learned a lot of tips from them. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I am so confident to do more projects. I LOVE YOU DONNA AND MATT
Well done Lass, i am so glad that you took that leap of faith to try something new when you didn't have anyone sitting next to you for help. I have been crafting all sorts of crafts since i was tiny because i had a wonderful lady called mum who wanted to teach us, help us and encourage us to be useful and give us a wonderful gift that has lasted my whole life. I know that you don't know me but whenever i see someone new trying to do something that they have never done before, it brings my mum's teachings and laughter back to me. Please let us know how you get on with your next endeavour. With crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
@@norahmcphee4928 what a lovely message for that lady. I myself started quilting very late in life after I retired from computer graphics. Love to watch Donna's soft and easy to follow instructions. I have learned so much from her. My only regret is I would love to buy some of Matt's precuts but the price of sending it from the USA to the UK is almost double the price of the item. So its not economical. Greetings from London
@@norahmcphee4928 thank you so much. Now that makes us all connected via internet. So we can learn many more things. I am always lookimg after new things to try. I would love all the fabric and jelly rolls, charms, pre cuts that Donna used but couldn't afford to buy bcz of high charges for shipping in Australia. Anyways i just need more knowledge that Donna and Matt give it to us. Thank you, thank you Norha. Doesn't matter if we know each other or not we all are together. Take care
I was watching a video of another quilter and I kept comparing her to you. Her fabric was all wrinkled and she cut strips with it like that. U love watching you. You are a natural teacher.
I do exactly the same! Donna, I have learned so much from you and watching your enjoyment of making quilts really keeps me motivated! Thanks for all of your positive lessons! ♥️
Another great pattern and tutorial. I could listen to the sound of the steam from your iron and the sharp cut of your rotary cutter all day long. Thanks for inspiring us all and for the great give-a-ways.
This seems like a pretty complicated way to make a star block 😱 You’ve shown several other techniques of making stars. I do enjoy watching and learning fm you. Thanks!
Donna, whether your making a quilt from your own design or some other person's design you are generous with information and tips on making quilts. I'm a self-taught quilter and am glad to have these tutorials. There is no hidden agenda in your tutorials. By this, I mean you never push fancy gadgets or gimmicks yet you show us how beautiful quilts can be made with basic equipment. THANK YOU! Thanks also to Matt and the team behind the scenes at Jordan's Fabrics. I really like this quilt even though I dislike Kaffee Fassett fabrics.
❤️🤗❤️ GORGEOUS ❤️ 🤗❤️ And OMG Kaffe Fassett makes the most Beautiful fabrics. You are living in Quilters Heaven Having access to the most GORGEOUS fabrics ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Donna, I have been watching your channel for about nine months since I inherited a half made quilt. I have made one by hand and three by machine now. Problem is, you just get hooked. You are so clear and concise in your demonstrations and you make it look effortless it’s a pleasure to watch. Thank you for your videos.
I love your videos, Donna. It is almost midnight here in Michigan and your infectious enthusiasm makes me want to flip the switch on my sewing machine and get to work. Sleeping is overrated, lol!
Donna’s tutorials are so easy to follow! Thank you Donna. I’m a beginner and following your tutorials have helped my confidence to complete a project. KUDOs to you and Matt!
Donna I love uour tutorial you make it easy bit I love your shop your fabrics are sooo cutes, I am from Argentina and here is so difficult to get those beatiful fabrics thanks a lot for sharing God Bless you I always look your videos!
Exactly so! I "discovered" this channel about a year ago and watched all the back catalog which allowed me to watch several each week. But now I am caught up, I have to wait each week for the next video, so it's something to which I really look forward!
If you did not simplify the process of making such a beautiful quilt I most likely would never get any quilts made. Would love to have more time to make every one of the quilts you show, but I must start with this one tomorrow. One day maybe in that beautiful Kaffee Fasset fabric you used. Thank you for inspiring me.
Thank you for all your tutorials. I am such a coward when it comes to color and choosing them. Sometimes I wonder about your choices but when the quilt is completed I am amazed at how beautiful everything works together. I cannot think of a quilt that I have not loved when you make it. Thank you again for everything. I have learned so much and enjoyed the whole process.
I always wonder why people feel the need to hit the 'Dislike' button. Wouldn't it be interesting to know what their reason was instead of hitting the dislike option anonymously... Love your channel Donna and Matt. Greetings from Australia by a couple New Zealanders...
I look so forward to your videos. I'm !missing my old singer industrial (just like your Juki). I had to move into a very small apartment and there was no room for it. Should have kept the machine and not gotten a couch. Who needs visitors. Your videos make me look at colors in a different way, which is a good thing.

My husband loved this pattern; I just purchased the PDF Version and looking forward to starting. Our 49th wedding anniversary was October 18 and would have loved to make it for that but Christmas is just around the corner. Thank you greatly Donna.
Good afternoon to the lovely Donna and all at Jordan Fabrics, oh flower, when i seen the Kaffe Fassett i just wasn't sure, but that teal/turquoise grunge just calmed it down nicely. The backing is just right for the quilt with the thread just finishing it off perfectly. I think doing the queen size has been a better size for the big prints of Fassett in showing them off to their own beauty. Thank you Donna flower for bringing us such a wonderful world of colour to us and encouraging new people that have never sewn before to give it a try. Your easy way and soft voice makes listening a pleasure, along with your excellent and precise teaching methods. Have a wonderful week flower until your next video with us. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Central Scotland
Thank you for explaining the type of white used as well as the name of the Grunge. I really like knowing what the other fabric names are so that I learn how to mix and match for myself. Wonderful new project!
This CQ pattern was stunning in the Kaffe prints, and the grunge fabric was perfect for the accent! Absolutely beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing your “Star Power” with us, Donna!

I have a Kaffe Fassett bundle I bought some time ago; this must be what I've been saving it for! Thanks, Donna, as always for the excellent instructions. You make the most complicated pattern look so doable!
I think this is the BEST quilt you've ever done, Donna! And boy is that saying something. I absolutely love it. Like you, I love me some Kaffe - but it has to be handled carefully! This combo is perfect-o! Love from Texas~
