This helps him remind himself how bad life was when he was on the drug, so him talking about it makes him release that feeling of doing it. It's almost like self medicating by talking. A lot of pple that go to meetings go just to listen & talk about those past stories. It helps them stay sober, be they connect with others & makes them feel like they are not alone in this. Right now i started university for the second time (i just turned 23) and im really grateful that my life wasn’t ruined by that shit called cocaine. People stay away from it, it’s a dangerous thing, even if you start doing it only on Saturdays, it will eventually become a real addiction 90% of the times
