To me Joey Diaz is very underrated, I feel like by discovering him, his comedy, his podcast, I'm in some secret group that knows about his jedi storytelling talent, much respect, going through life like a gentleman.
He's much bigger than he makes himself sound. He speaks about topics most headline comics and mid level celebs never do. His podcast brings out the best in him, and as a listener it's easy to forget that he has HUGE numbers of people listening weekly and going to his shows. We are in the podcast economy of comedy right now.
