Well that must have taken some research to put all those clips together. Does YT ever hit people up for copyright with clips like that or are there learning loopholes in the Copyright law? Makes it more entertaining to watch with the examples. Good hunting for those Jay. The new angle I find a little too off axis - it is kind of jarring. Especially in a tut on smooth editing. What I think works better that I have seen is slightly off angle with a different focal length. Just my opinion there- lots of great editing tips in there, easy to forget these kinds of things when a lot of us do the one man wears so many hats, thing.

Yeah, I'm still experimenting with the second angle. Not sure if im going to keep it or not. As far as the copyright stuff is concerned, I've only used actual movies as examples a couple of times and I've never been hit. There are Fair Use exceptions to copyright laws, such as using them for educational purposes, like I am, and you can't have more than a 10 second clip (might be longer than that, but I try to keep it under 10 seconds.)

Jay What type of Cut/Transition would you call where a Vehicle/Plane/Drone flies out of the Frame to the left then the same one or different one flies in from the right as if there was a passage of time?

I've found in my type of Video 'TOY Model airplanes' The only transitions (CUTS) needed are Fade to & From Black, A dissolve, a Fly out or Fly in, and the CUT. Of course I'm not making an epic remake of 12 O'Clock High either. Just a bunch of O'l Gezzers playing with their expensive TOYs. I Love your stuff. most of it.
