    I have a P and a CS from staccato. They are NOT the best 2011s, by a longshot. I have a TT pit viper, an atlas, and a nighthawk sandhawk. They all have lighter triggers (not necessarily better breaks or reset, just lighter), and the fit, blending, finish, and craftsmanship are miles ahead. That being said, they are competition/niche/art pieces. The Staccato is meant for hard use. Its a duty gun. Its probably the best duty handgun. Ever. I would not carry the other 2011s professionally like I do with my P. I trust it more.

It's 10% off for vets, first responders, etc. May even be more for active duty or law enforcement. That's why we went with the XC over the TRS comp. 3,900 vs 5,500. As always, great video.

      Not a huge difference other than no creep at the wall or resistance in the trigger and the neutral grip angle is very natural. In addition to that, you must lube them much more, like an AR but they will run dirty.

  • @waynecastleman1363
    @waynecastleman1363 3 месяца назад +2

    Staccato is definitely smooth and I like it alot however we are getting to the age of vs vs the cost like a Shadow System and your getting a lot for the money and then we have a Turkish entry with excellent trigger for even less so it really is getting harder to justify the cost , but its all in what you think is best. I personally wouldn't mind having a Staccato in my safe and I have a Wilson so the price stings a lot. So its good we have pistols that are high quality at more middle of the road prices and Shadow brings out a great choice in the competition.

    • @HuntFishShootChannel

      Having done that personally I don’t see any issue but that is based off a high level of proficiency with both platforms. The best option would be to carry the same, but as long as you are a proficient shooter with a good skill set and knowledge, it shouldn’t make a difference

    I know a lot of people will disagree, but the RCR is the best optic you can put on a Staccato P. It look far better in person than photos suggest, but more importantly it’s the perfect balance between durability and usability. The window is perfectly sized. The best thing is always those Trijicon (patented) buttons for the quickest and easiest brightness adjustments. The top load battery is leaps and bounds ahead of the SRO/RMR HD battery change and of course far more secure than the Holosun tray. This thing is awesome on the P.

    • @HuntFishShootChannel
      @HuntFishShootChannel  3 месяца назад

      I respectfully disagree. The window is no better than a regular RMR and the battery change is like an SRO/RMR HD. The top of the housing feels like it’s 10 inches thick when looking through the lens and at the target. Some of that is personal preference no doubt. I think it’s a good optic. One thing about the RCR, the optics mounting screws and how they torque is the strangest thing, but it seems to work. Just hope the screws never seize or get stuck or you will be cutting off the optic with a dremel.

    • @Cortezuma
      @Cortezuma 3 месяца назад +1

      @@HuntFishShootChannel You have valid arguments. I’m planning on leaving mine where it is so hopefully I’ll never have issues with the screws. But I do find the window to be better than the standard RMR and the top thickness doesn’t bother me. Personal preference for sure. I use the RMR HD as well, which is great, but the balance for me between the closed emitter benefits and the ergonomics of the buttons only offered by Trijicon makes me really love it. I guess it depends on priorities. Respect.

    Probably 🔝 production, hard, duty use 2011 no question. More reliable in adverse conditions and with cheap regular range ammunition than anything else out there. Your Atlases, Nighthawks, ACWs, and all other higher end custom or semi custom builds that are super tight will not give you the reliability of a Staccato.

    Staccato P, the gun to get if you can’t afford (or locate) a Nighthawk Sandhawk. 😂
    2011’s, 2311’s, and to be honest (shockingly to me now), 1911’s, just aren’t my thing. I ran 1911’s from the 80’s into the new millennium. I kept 1 for sentimental reasons. I run an FNX45T as a “battle” pistol, and have about 1 gun for every scenario. That means, there’s no functional role for me to put a Staccato or a Nighthawk. They shoot phenomenally smooth, flat, accurate, and comfortable. As for optics, RMR2 ADJ 3.25 for life! lol
    So, which did you prefer, the oracle or the Staccato P? 😬

    CZ shadow night and day better. In fact I couldn’t shoot the staccato any better than a Glock 17. If there was any difference it was split times as there was slightly less felt recoil mainly due to the weight, Which only confirmed to me that money doesn’t buy you accuracy or proficiency. I’ll be keeping my Glock.

    • @Grex260

      I just got a cz shadow 2 few weeks ago. It is phenomenal compared to any 9mm I have ever tried. The only company I haven’t tried is Walter. Polymer frames ain’t me honestly. Love my beretta and cz. I’d buy a staccato but I can buy 2 of the cz and ammo for the one I’d like to buy. $2400 for a 9mm pistol is above my pay grade

    If you value craftmanship, any firearm you admire is worth it. But, don't buy a high price pistol thinking it will make you shoot better. Only way you will shoot better is by practicing and thats with any pistol.

      Honestly as a firearms instructor I guess I’m never supposed to say this…. but sorry man this does make you shoot better. The paper don’t lie. Same shooter doing the same thing on a stock Glock vs this, the holes are gonna be better on this for the vast majority of shooters and thus many people will “shoot better” simply because of the gun.

    Are they good? Yes. Are they dependable? Yep! Do they look good as well, You bet. Are they the best 2011 yes, but there is a catch. They trademarked the moniker 2011 so they are the only one that can be legally called a 2011 so by default they are the best 2011. Are there better of this type? Yep, lots! But they cost more as well. A LOT More!!!
    Better= SVT, Atlas, Alchemy, Nighthawk, Wilson Combat, on and on. The SVT, Atlas and Alchemy are true hard fit by hand guns. Staccato cannot touch their accuracy and smoothness. Compared to them they are rough as a gravel road.
    And yes, I own Staccatos. They are extremely competent for a production gun. Impressive for what they are as production guns even if they do have a premium price.
    I also have an older Les Baer TRS (single stack and hard fit), which cost less than a Staccato but it is light years ahead of the Staccato products in both fit smoothness and accuracy. It came with the 1 1/2" at 50 yard guarantee and proves it! In writing and on the bench. Superb.
