It's not north bethesda, its rockville. South of the beltway is Bethesda, north of the beltway is rockville. They call it north bethesda because it's a nice area. When it wasnt as nice they called it rockville.
@@CarynGardiner I don't think you understand. I've lived in the area much longer than you have. It wasn't always referred to as north Bethesda, it was Rockville. In fact the whole foods location you showed that you called north Bethesda has it's address as Rockville. It wasn't until the area was getting better and more expensive that those Bethesda snobs wanted to call it Bethesda. I've lived in the area since the 70s. It wasn't until around the late 90s to early 2000s that people from Bethesda called it north Bethesda. When I grew up it was always called Rockville. It's what rich people do, they want to rename an adjacent area next to it when it becomes gentrified.
Recently, my nephew looked at an old, small sq footage, starter home in N.Bethesda. It sold for over a million dollars. It sold for more than the asking price..
Born,& raised in Maryland....been in Michigan for a while now. It always amazes me of how many people here have the impression of Maryland being some " cheap" state as they're often surprised when I tell them that the cost of housing far exceeds Michigan. Maryland is a juggernaut of a state in terms of diversity, quality schools, transportation,& jobs( especially for well educated). That being said, for those who are thinking Bethesda, & aren't familiar...come financially PREPARED!!!
Ya look up Bellevue, Washington Burien, Washington I live in burien I think it’s perfect 5 min from the airport, 10 from downtown seattle, uncontested quiet neighborhood absolutely stunning 😍 views of the Olympic mountains and puget sound. If you have never been to tue Pacific Northwest you have to vacation here once
Growing up there in Bethesda, I LOVED the snow storms. It was great. We all handled those storms perfectly. Snow plows ran consistently. Having lived in Florida, I discovered i HATED the summers down there. I missed the autumn. I missed those wonderful leaves. I got the hell out of Florida, and I now live in Kansas. Great people and very similiar weather with the DC area. I always call Bethesda HOME when people out here ask me where I am from. GO CHIEFS!
Every time she says North Bethesda I think we should all take a shot. This is really annoying as someone who’s originally from the area Hilton arms is not North Bethesda North Bethesda does not exist. I did not just pop up on the map in the 1980s that she says is north Bethesda is Rockville except for Hilton arms which is on River Road, PS

@@tonywong8134 I know that and say it in the video.
Thank you! For your explanation. I used to live in North Bethesda. I would tell people all the time it's Rockville. It's a great place. 👍🏽
Native Marylander here. My bro and best friend lives in this area. It’s Rockville.

Yes Omg I live in north Bethesda and went back home to Michigan. We are literally paying 2-3 times the price in north Bethesda.
@@kingahmad6798 Yep! It's a major shock compared to Midwestern housing prices.
Absolutely, most expensive place in Maryland! Buying a home in Montgomery County, expect ⬆️💵💵💵💵💵💵
The Cons are the outrageous prices of homes, unless your making the big money..for all others..are classified as "The Unfortunate Ones"
funny ending thanks great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm pretty sure Rockville is not the best place to live in MD. North Bethesda is rockville.
I love your channel!
Thank you so much!
Like Jack Diamond said if its north of 495 its Rockville!!!!!
great video
Thanks!
There is no "north Bethesda", that's Rockville. The real Bethesda is inside the beltway. North Bethesda is just some BS real estate developer name.
😂😂
They even changed the metro stop from white flint to NoBe.
The Cons are..Outrageous prices of homes..unless your making that big money
As a Seattle local this seams like a carbon copy of bellevue Washington
But idk Bellevue got like skyscrapers n shi might be different

Wrong. Columbia Maryland is best in Maryland..by all responsible ratings. But of course you are a realtor so money talks
If you’re a lefty, you’ll live it. Prepare to pay lots of taxes, but you like that I suppose.
It is extremely left of center, politically.
