Better off to rely on finding your own home inspector vs. using the selling agent’s inspector. By doing so, you have a home inspector that is not biased by the selling agent to produce a home inspection report that may down play issues just to get that home sold.
Great video-in my limited experience I have learned one must get a good agent and trust them and listen to them. Having a good agent when buying/selling a house is like having a good lawyer when in trouble :-) you don't want to realize your choice of your rep is poor AFTER the transactions have concluded.
A Realtor here for 25 years now realtors are not sells people we are here to protect and help them and sad to see bad agents but there is good ones … I fight for my buyers best interest period , I have donated part of my pay to help single moms to get in a home , I always suggest inspections including inspections on roof and foundation with an engineer that does not sell foundation repairs. I negotiate repairs like a pit bull . I don’t like to give inspections names is conflict of interest I give them 4 companies .. before closing I ask for receipts to make sure all repairs are done demanding receipts from licensed contractors or no closing on that home … again I don’t sell anything they choose I try to protect them …
I hear you but there are different lenders with different programs and personalities. For example, I like to give my clients a bank lender and a mortgage broker.
At what point does an agent claim me as a client and start charging me fees? An agent has been emailing me lists of homes. I noticed that hes been sending me homes that hes selling since hes an investor as well. I have not committed to any of the homes he has been emailing me because I am finding better homes on Zillow than what hes been sending me.
After you sign a buyer agency, you are considered their client. As for payment, depending on what your buyer agency says, you traditionally get paid after the house closes
you all do the same thing at the same time anyway why would anybody take advise on a purchase from the seller its like you buying a car and asking the salesman for advise
.. pfff sorry but you say only summer is not like winter.. guess your posts are only for kids.. not even one interesting thing.. my grandma without school knows more

Fantastic, very specific advice in this one. Thanks, Caryn!

Great advice!
Thank you!
Always do inspection. Even on new home. I always pay.
Agree!
Very helpful. Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Outstanding video...
I am looking to buy a property in PoIk County, Florida, and will contact you for advice
Thank you
Inspections, at least in my area, are not that expensive. You're just asking for trouble by skipping i
I don't rely on agents in finding homes. I look for the house I want myself then call my agent to make an offer.
There are a lot of houses that sell privately off market. At least in my area (DMV)

Sounds like you are a great realtor!
Agents should stop telling buyers to go to 3 loan officers, it doesn't make sense. Send them to the best loan officer you've worked with.

Man, i hated looking at houses, and now even more. Now i have to interview and find a buyers agent before i even see a house.
You don’t need one to go to open houses. Just a reminder

@@CarynGardiner And what happens if i decided to use a different agent?
@@ropatipisia4830 you need to cancel the buyer agency. If you’re not sure of the agent, sign a buyer agency only for a week
Don't buy a house owned by a realtor. Ever.
Wow, why do you say this?
