Hmm, very interesting!.... By the way are there any rivers or lakes nearby? Also, any ice skating rinks and skiing spots in, or a short distance from the city? 😊

Hi! Thanks for watching! yes, there are several. Cabin John has an ice rink. There's also skating in downtown Rockville in season (outdoors.) We're super close to the Potomac River here, and a short drive to the Chesapeake Bay!

Hi, would you recommend an area for an older single lady ( not 30’s 40’s) looking to live thats a cool place to shop and meet people too? Thanks!

Hi Kimberly! Sorry that I just saw this, I was out of town this week. I think the demographic in the DC area is so diverse that there are a lot of areas where someone older than 40's might feel at home. Definitely I would suggest to check out Bethesda as it has so much to offer. If you were interested in the Virginia side - Old Town Alexandria is another place that may be worth a look as well. And Silver Spring is a lot more hustle and bustle and feels more like a city than DC does (to me) but that may also be an option. Let me know if I can help with anything!

@@andrewusa14 Hi Andrew, thank you for watching and commenting! It would be tough to create a profile of a typical job since there are so many people here in the area who are affiliated in some way with government work. That's not just those who actually work for the government, but for the many contractors who are private sector but derive their work from government agencies. Aside from that population which I would imagine is rather large, you would have the usual, lawyers, doctors and those in healthcare working for NIH or other pharma type companies, hospitality as Marriott's HQ is in Bethesda. Due to price point, location to the city, schools etc, the desirability to live in Bethesda is high which keeps prices high so the jobs follow suit. Let me know if that helps or you have other questions!
