My mom worked for Shannon and Lucs (maybe not spelled correct) realtors when she was your age in Bethesda, MD. She sold a home to the Stern family, their son, Daniel Stern narrated the "Wonder Years." based on that area. I went to High School with his brother David. It was exactly as the TV show was about. I have fond memories of Bethesda.

Bethesda co-mingled with Chevy Chase and my go to place is Jane E. Lawton community recreation center, Tiffanys, Friendship Height metro and The collection plaza Chevy Chase.
