My hopes are high for a lot of potential games however I’m not gonna cry because a company didn’t cater to my specific wishes. Learning how to deal with disappointment is healthy.
Yeah, but with nintendo, I expect nothing and usually still get disappointed
I always hope for a pleasant surprise. If there's nothing I'm interested in, I go back to playing my game library and don't have to worry about a hit to my budget. I'd like a port of twilight princess, or news on their next pokemon legends game. Or perhaps a port or remake of explorers of sky. I'd love a rare replay and I'd be one of the people buying it if they did a good job on it. With them saying no news on the next system I don't expect a lot but you never know.

To be fair, the Switch has been out for 7 years. We've all known that another console is on it's way at some point, and there have been leak after leak about the Switch's successor for some time now. I'm not surprised they'd be so casual in announcing it to be quite honest.

It’s because of how Pokémon home and switch online works they could also release them In a collection bundle and have very specific rules on transferring Pokémon between this collection and Pokemon home I hope this would be the big game for the holidays if not then black and white remakes even though they would take their time to avoid a bdsp situation happening again.
They will give us a trailer of Pokemon Legends with 15 seconds of footage and that's all about pokemon

People say we shouldnt expect Metroid Prime 4 for the Switch 2 because Metroid isnt a system seller. I'd like to point out that before BOTW and TOTK, Zelda's top selling game was Twilight Princess at 8.70 million copies, so it wasnt really a system seller itself until the Switch

He meant announced for the 2024 fiscal year. PLZA is coming at the end of 2025, so it would be next fiscal year, and pretty likely to be on the switch 2.

Hyrule Warriors: The Imprisoning War
Imagine it. Playing as Rauru, Sonia, the Ancient Hero and Sages (who were probably the first Champions so more Divine Beast missions), maybe even a young Maz Koshia.
It’d be cool if they made a game about the Imprisoning War that takes place after OOT if Link loses.
I know it won't happen, but i really want another Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game. Rescue team DX came out so long ago...

I’d happily pay for gen 1-3 of Pokémon on the eshop if they came with Home support, it feels like they’re leaving so much money on the table not having them on the Switch in some way. With no new Pokémon game, now is the ideal year!

@@AustinJohnPlays Yes that is true but going on Pokemon's Past history they are late by about a year to go to a new console but there is always a chance it is a switch successor release or a cross gen release.

I think the easiest way to get the Pokemon games on NSO is for them to release a few of those SP variants of the Stadium Games, one for each GB/C Pokemon game where each variant functions as if you have its corresponding game attached and you can play it through the link function in Stadium.

I hated the controls for it. The fact that you had to use the stylus to move link was dumb because the stylus would hardly ever work.

Pokémon announcement are especially bad for that, as the comment section is always full of people who hyped themselves with leaks and rumors, then get mad when what was never officially mentioned to be in the game isn't in the game.
2 - Sarcasm can be hard to see in text format. Even more so if the reader is not a native speaker of that language, which I am not, or when it seems like there's words and ponctuation missing in the supposedly sarcastic comment, in which case the reader has to fill in the blank themselves.

I wouldn't say ALL devs are done with Switch 1. They all aren't working on games that take the same dev times. So the one's who's games were finished 3 years ago would probably have started on the Switch 2 game, but devs who were working on games that would be finished a year ago to this year would still have been working on Switch 1.
