Relieved to find this. Mine is 20 years old. Suddenly, the sprayer came on every time I turned the faucet on. The trigger appears broken. I didn't even know ow these came off. Yaaayyyyy! All I have to do is buy a new spray gun and not hire a plumber or crawl around under the sink.😅

Come on terry, there has to be a way to repair and not replace, right? Mine just won't stop spraying

The title of this video is misleading. I believe it should be 'How to remove a kitchen sprayer' with a recommendation to replace the sprayer it it is leaking.

You taught how to replace one, not fix it. Misleading title, guy.

Mine weirdly has hardly any flow of water when its pressed, even though the kitchen faucet operates normally.
Its not the handle, because when I unscrew that the hose also has very little water coming through, it just drips.
    What would cause this?

There could be calcium buildup blocking the holes; try soaking the head in vinegar. Or, like mine, it's full of tiny particles and all you can do is replace it.

I bought a universal replacement sprayers, but it turns out the hole in the sprayer is too small for my hose. Any idea what type of sprayer I need?

mine has a stuck trigger. it wont depress. i thought it might have something to do with the crazy pressure that comes out of there (but not the faucet). weird.

This is such a terrible product. It you have hard water you can try and fix the sprayer by submerging it in white vinegar over night. These sprayers have been designed as throw away, and unfortunately the only thing to do is throw them away when they are clogged by debris in the water, thus polluting the environment with more plastic. Luckily it won't end up in a dolphin's stomach, or as micro-plastic in your salt or water. Hopefully there will be repairable sprayers in the market one day.

Deep the sprayer head in vinegar for 10 minutes, chances are that will fix it.

my issue is I replaced my faucet sprayer, it works for a couple minutes but then stops. The only way to get it working again is to remove the sprayer part itself and reattach it. Any ideas?

I replaced the spray head with a new one and now it "screams" when I use it. How can I fix it? Thanks for any info.

Thank you so much for this video. That is extremely helpful because that is the exact same sprayer I have and it’s quite old and will not stop spraying water now unless I turn the faucet off. Fingers crossed they still sell that type.
