- Wait, you can unclog a wonky kitchen sink sprayer with white vinegar and a toothpick? YES YOU CAN!
Typically, sprayers clog due to the buildup of hard minerals (calcium deposits). If you don't have a water softener, this becomes a common problem (and why so many old sink sprayers become useless after a while).
This video takes you through the steps of a modern sink sprayer that manually unscrews. And our blog quickly steps you through how to do this with a modern sprayer PLUS how to do it with an older-style sprayer.

Thanks for subbing!! Glad we could help.
Thank you so much sir
Thanks for your help while the volume is low I can still hear you fine.
Low !!?? I heard him well, try raising the volume on YOUR phone !!!
@@Batman-nf4nn -- Maybe your hearing is better than his. Maybe his volume only goes up so far. And how do you even know he's using a phone? I use my laptop to watch videos. Try not being a poopy-head turd burger, mister!!
Hmm... there are a bunch of rubber o-rings in that sprayer, and there are many articles online that say that vinegar attacks rubber. I would recommend disassembling the sprayer and soaking only the nozzle cap portion that doesn't have rubber on it. There are other RUclips videos that show this.
Will this help with black button getting stuck & water not coming out with hold button? I have exact nozzle.
So, you don't remove the aerator to clean it out at all ??
This fixed my stuck spray button but caused whatever plastic film on the nozzle to peel. It doesn’t peel easily like it’s bonded to it. Unsightly for sure and regret soaking it.
Tie the water line in a big loop. This will allow you to (1) soak the sprayer in a bowl in the sink without removing it or (2) remove the sprayer without risk of the water line disappearing into the faucet and under the sink.
Baggie works well bec sometimes the heads need removing and u can’t reach shower head or u don’t have tools. Less vinegar required. I use large pipe cleaners from craft box.
Thanks for the tip!
Can't get the sprayer back on
could not hear you
