      It's because he only opened the flow part way to show a low flow, but opened it fully at the end to show a good flow. Deceiving.

    Thank you thank you thank you! I just LOVE youtube for finding all you experienced people can impart your wisdom and tricks for all kinds of things. I was able to clean my screen in a bathroom sink faucet and now I found you to explain how to do the kitchen pullout faucet. You're the best!!!!!

    Worked great, thank you! I found this video after taking the sprayer off and letting the hose slip back into the faucet. I was able to get the hose back out by pushing it up from under the sink. However, the brass connector was still back inside the faucet.
    To get it back out, I wrapped the end of the hose in tape to make the fit between the hose end and the connector more snug. Then I pulled the hose back into the faucet. When I pushed it back out this time, the connecter came with the hose since the fit was more snug. Posting this here because I was about to disassemble the faucet if the tape trick didn't work.

    so happy to hear this. In the old days (aka when I was a kid and all you usually needed was a new 5-cent washer) you could repair things easily. But in today's world, we get sexy plumbing hardware, and we are usually advised to replace it - ouch! (My brother bought a fancy faucet for his powder room, and he was advised to buy a new faucet.) I knew I was taking a chance with my kitchen pull-out faucet when I bought it, but you have given me hope that the fixes are indeed possible even for a mechanical dunce like me. (There seems to be a youtube video for almost any problem! ) "I got this!"

It worked great! Didn't have a bristle brush so used a plastic toothpick. Worked great! Now I don't get sprayed anymore, just a nice steam from my sprayer.

    I thought that was my problem too. I scrubbed the outside at least w not much improvement. Anyways. Plumber had to come out to replace disposal. I mentioned the slow drainage in the (kitchen) faucet. Idk what they did under the sink, but it took 2 seconds. Seemed like I might have seen a black tube towards the top of the cabinet underneath they messed w. You should really have a plumber just come look. This guy was amazing. I’ve never seen a plumber blast thru my problems, fix same day in minutes & OUT. Just fixing the disposal even fixed water that was backing up in my dishwasher -I noticed in another video some guy trying to fix. I thought 🤯. Now more problems are mounting. But it went right away! Good luck 🍀 to ya! The kitchen faucet blasts so much water now (mine was seriously like yours. I thought it was clogged where you thought). I try to turn it 1/2 way off just to conserve! Take care❗️

    I get full pressure with cold but minimal pressure with hot. How do I fix this? I've removed the hose from the bib to the faucet connector and made sure it was clear. I even switched the cold over to the hot connector and got reduced pressure (like 15% of normal) - All other faucets in the house have normal hot pressure so I know the supply is ok.
    Seems like the clog is internal? How do I clear that?

    Good video. I use an office binder clip instead of duct tape to secure the hose. A wire brush would certainly work well, but it can scratch the metal and leave marks on my oil rubbed bronze spray head, so I use the brush with the very hard, stiff plastic bristles from my wire brush set instead and the tip of a small safety pin to clear the spray holes. I just have one question. Why did you barely turn the water on to show low flow at the beginning and then turn it on all the way at the end? I was hoping to see a big difference at the same flow rate.

    I watched the video and is very good. My question is, many new heads for faucets are available for less than $10.00. However they will not fit the hose you are using and mine is the same . About 16.5 mm. Everything they sell is called a G 1/2 , 20.5 mm or 13/16. I am having a problem locating a head for this hose and will try cleaning it.

    • @Iscaper

      My guess is the threads on the faucet head are unique to the hose so you can't buy a $10 replacement. You can probably buy a replacement head for the model of faucet you have.

      Mix lemon juice and vinegar in a spray bottle. It works best when warm: warm it in the microwave or the oven. Don't let it stay too long: 30 seconds is enough. Spray the warm vinegar and lemon juice mixture and let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe it with a lint-free cloth.

    If you pour water through both sides of it and slap it back on it works. This guys method should be used if you plan on consuming your water.

    I followed your directions, and the sink is working perfectly now. I took a picture to show you how it fits back together because there's a little gap I don't remember being there before, but perhaps it was. How do I upload photos here?

      I don't think Google allows uploading photos to the comment section. You can email me photos at iScaper.com.

    I’ve been doing this in my shower almost every day. Now I’m looking into how to prevent those rocks to come into the faucet. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Hey man, I saw some live larvae in the faucet areator while cleaning, what is this? Is it mosquito larvae or something else and how can we avoid it?

    • @Iscaper

      Wow, I've never heard of that. I guess you could try soaking the faucet in a disinfectant.

    Looking for water filter for this same faucet u have it couldn't find it I try pur and also some other filter none of f them fits please reply which filter should I buy

    • @Iscaper
      @Iscaper  2 года назад

      A water filter like PUR won't work on a faucet like this because of the pull out hose. There are no threads in the spout to connect a water filter.

    Cover drain so nothing falls down in it should it slip from your hand!

    Great instructions but I think you should of used a resealable sandwich bag to soap the nozzle instead of a bowl.

    I got a question about this. I did not know about how the retractable pipe worked, and now it is lost (stuck) somewhere inside the faucet. Any ideas on how to get it out?

    • @Iscaper
      @Iscaper  3 года назад

      You might be able to go under the sink and pull the hose out, but that doesn't help you get it back through the tube to attach the spray head. You may end up disassembling the whole faucet to get the pull out hose back through the tube.

    Are there any other substitutes for CLR I could use? I don't have CLR..

    • @Iscaper

      You could try white vinegar.
