In this video, I will show how to properly repair damage to a chipboard kitchen countertop. A large chip formed on the tabletop from a mechanical impact. My task was to perfectly restore this damage so that I would not have to replace the tabletop with a new one. Such chips very often occur during operation. Therefore, such a restoration is not the first for me. In my work, I use only professional restoration materials from the company "Heinrich König" (Germany). With the help of local restoration technology, any damage on natural and artificial types of surfaces can be repaired. To begin with, the damaged area was cleaned and degreased. Using a gas soldering iron, apply a filler (hard wax) of the required shade to the damage. I removed all the remains with a special spatula and leveled the surface. I cleaned the wax residues from the surface with a light solvent that does not damage the surrounding surface. The next stage of the restoration was retouching and restoration of the lost structure in the place of damage. This was done with restoration acrylic paints of the required shades. The final stage of the local restoration of damage to chipboard was the application of a transparent restoration varnish (semi-matte). This is necessary to secure and protect the performed restoration and to restore the semi-matte shine. The restoration is complete.

Great job. I work with insurance and we're focusing more and more on repairs. All of us throw so many things out that could be repaired, and it is such a waste of ressources! Keep up the good work. If you're not allready working with insurance companies you should let them know your skills :)

@@cassermck This is a special restorative hard wax. It is very strong. Resistant to operational loads. Do you also have similar damage?
