I really wish I had stumbled across your channel at the beginning of 2023. The water pressure in our kitchen faucet was down to a trickle. I ended up buying a new faucet and tossing out the old one. This scenario, regarding minimal water pressure, had never happened to me before at any place I lived. You could have saved me a lot of money. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I'm glad this worked for you.... My brand new Kohler faucet is doing this after 1 week....Clean high-pressure water going in, no clog in the feed line, no debris in the cartridge, but in that faucet head screen....tiny bits of rubber. They aren't causing the clog, because I can clean them out easily....but it seems the faucet itself is generating them somehow....some seal or part deteriorating after just one week!

I'm a long time subscriber and love your videos - strait and to the point without superfluous blaring music or an intro which lasts longer than the content . Came across this older one and I definitely notice the increase in production quality of your newer vids - great job!
I happen to have the same exact Hansgrohe faucet and had a pin hole leak in the hose which luckily was caught by a container below (about a gallon over time) - something to keep an eye on or replace as preventative (company did me a "favor" and sent me a replacement).
I'm also amazed how such little debris can restrict flow so much!

My Kitchen sink was le aking around the hot and cold handle base. Took it apart- Replaced the 1225 catridge. Reinstalled it - No water through main spout- but both hot and cold water from the sprayer. Took the catridge out again to check alignment of the vent hole thinking that was the problem. Again same result. No water from the main spout. Until I saw your video. Opened the main spout and cleaned the filter - debris blockage - Reinstalled and lo ! the water flows out from both hot and cold side. !! Wow !. .Thanks a lot!

Yes, your faucet may have more filter screens. Make sure hot and cold water is turned off at the valves inside your cabinet. If you check the water line under your sink that goes up to your faucet, there should be a plastic piece with 2 tabs that is in-between the faucet water line. Push in the tabs and pull apart. You will see a screen filter that may be clogged. Once cleaned just connect back and you will hear a click once connected. There may be another screen filter on the end of the water lines that connect to the valves inside your cabinet. Hope this helps you.

For heavily mineralized areas of the country soak the parts in vinegar after it’s been brought to a boil with the heat turned off. The hot vinegar will quickly loosen and decalcify the faucet parts, finished using a stiff toothbrush and water rinse.

You probably have this fixed but check the supply line inside your cabinet. There should be a plastic piece that is between the supply line, push in the 2 tabs and pull apart. There is a filter screen that most likely is clogged. There may also be a screen where your cold and hot water lines connect to your water supply valves. Make sure to turn off water before doing anything.

Oh Lord little screen was clogged with rusty oily stuff. I can't believe water managed to get through at all. I had hoped to remove low flow but this is a plastic head requiring Moen special baby grabber toy! (Stupid stupid "only my company" tool but knockoffs fine. Used toothbrush, and a disposable floss "brush pick" sometimes I need the feather end & sometimes the tapered end. Do not use toothpicks people! Sharp end of wood skewers & "crab picks" (fixing daughter's thought I threw it in my gear.) The screen (identical to a pot pipe one) has a pretty then washer around it. I was worried about rubber wear so I took my thumb nail and gently scraped around the edge inside. More of a greasy rust there.
Deep well water. Clearly tons of iron. It was down to a Newfoundland-goat's urine stream. Excellent video except having gotten my flat sided adjustable, yep! Male no threads

I wished you showed how you "simply remove the head off of the faucet.

so kinda late to this party, but that faucet and a lot of other faucets with pull down sprayers are going to have another metal screen where the water supply connects to hand sprayer. Go get a clothes pin, a bag clip (you will thank me later), pull down the sprayer, start unscrewing the water supply from the sprayer -- NOW, do not let go, that water supply is weighted and will disappear, which is why I had you get that bag clip. Clean out that screen too. If the aerator was filthy, that screen will need cleaning too.
