    Thank you for the video.
    I have a new glacier bay kitchen faucet, but I'm not too happy with the water pressure. I tried to remove the "backflow preventor" inside the quick connect, which doesn't improve much.
    I am wondering where is the restrictor located? The model I have had a very slim faucet head and a fine messed filter web. So it's hard for me to remove it from the faucet sleeve, or remove the filter web to access the restrictor.
    Do you think the quick connect has different flow ratings? Thanks.

    • @LexVance
      @LexVance  9 месяцев назад

      That's a good question. I'm not sure because I've never had this issue. 🤔

    Question for you, what is that little canister looking thing under the sink that looks like a 60 amp fuse for an AC disconnect box?

    • @LexVance
      @LexVance  2 года назад +2

      A vaccum breaker. For when they use the fire hydrant the pressure it creates won't cave in the plumbing if I remember correctly. Thank you so much for watching Richard!

    • @rogersdrummer1
      @rogersdrummer1 3 месяца назад

      That piece that looks like a brass tubular fuse is a (water hammer arrestor). If the pipe in the wall is not strapped off good, water pressure in the pipes can cause the pipes to move when it's turned off and on. Have you ever been inside an old house and heard a knocking on the wall when the water is turned off and on? That device stops that from happening.
