PLEASE READ! REGARDING THE DISPUTE WITH NINTENDO768
Ok, it's a long story, but the gist of it goes like this:
I was contacted a while ago by a RUclips member asking if a guy called nintendo768 had asked permission to use riffs from my song Obscurity in one of their own songs, to which I said no, as it's not a musical thing to do and it won't help develop them as artists. I thought nothing of it until months later, when another guy contacted me telling me that he had 'bought the rights' for Obscurity in the form of some transaction for $300 that was done here on RUclips. I had never done such a transaction and never would sell rights to any of my songs as they are all my creation, and I'd like to keep it that way. I kept telling them that I hadn't done such a transaction with them and that whoever was telling them that I had done was lying. They of course wouldn't believe me, and told me that they would still be using it on their EP regardless of me owning the initial rights to the song. They pretty much started to act even more juvenile, bombarding me with several hate messages, one actually entitled "Why do you have to be such an asshole?". Apparently, me choosing to act upon blatant copyright infringement and lies makes me an asshole. But to them, the fact of the matter is that the resolvement would be based around changing the title of the song and the main riff of the song, but they're not understanding that my annoyance was based upon one of the members from that band telling them that they made a transaction with me to purchase rights to one of my own songs, when they clearly didn't. The member of the band that lied to them apparently is still with them, so I can only imagine what fun they will have with him in the future. My gut feeling, is that they won't go anywhere in the music industry if they base their music off stealing from other musicians blatantly and then lying about it. And if thinking like that makes me an arsehole, then I guess I'm an arsehole.

Hey guys, I'm back and with 1 of 2 new singles for you today.
Firstly, I just want to apologise for my enormous absence, from September through to June I was heavily involved with school stuff. It was my second from last year of high school, and these years are quite important so unfortunately I had to spend more time on that than this.
This song is called "Obscurity" and it's currently available on iTunes! I didn't do my last trick where I posted the video before it became for sale, and this way it's just more convenient for both of us. As far as song writing was concerned, I've had this idea for quite a while, but I didn't think it would fit in a song just because of its sort of rock feel as apposed to the metal feel which people seem to like.
The tuning for this song is D standard, one step down from regular E tuning.
I hope you'll find that these two singles are way better sound quality than my first effort! For the guitars, I used my POD X3 and recorded it in REAPER. For the (pretty bad) drumming, I used EZDrummer but this time I programmed it using EZDrummer, and was able to mix it myself instead of getting Buckeye to do it for me. For the bass guitar, I used a real bass entitled: Matt's Bass. Thank you Matt for letting me borrow your bass, now get it the hell of my property!
