- I Found the PERFECT Place! | Philippines 🇵🇭
Near El Nido, Palawan in the Philippines I found a small Filipino community on the beach. El Nido, Philippines can be a bit touristy, so it was a nice escape to meet Filipinos in the village in Palawan, Philippines! I moved to the Philippines nearly 6 months ago, and explore Filipino islands on this channel! Thanks for watching!

That shed with the old coconuts you saw at a distance is where copra is made.
Those kids are so friendly 💖
they are!
God bless us thank you so much for visiting Philippines. From Lani D. Nepomuceno, Philippines 🇵🇭
Hi Jonathan. If you drive a little bit up north, there are three beaches which are also quiet and peaceful. If I am not mistaken, there are a couple of accommodations available - Duli Beach Resort and Verde Safari Bed and Breakfast. Perhaps much fewer people because it is a little bit further from the villages. I accidentally visited these places when I got lost while driving around this area. Have fun!
Duli beach is haven for surfers! 😊
Ha ha ha just laughing by my self the way Jonathan describe the place the young kids speaks English. They are not ashamed very helpful. Enjoy.
Living a simple life sometimes is the most satisfying. Especially in the province like that
I usually prefer it! It’s more peaceful
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL that is true.
Disintegration is the BEST album ever. Cure fan for over 30 years
Your smile says it all. You are a very happy camper. You really love isolated places. I am glad you are enjoying yourself. 🧢😊
I do need my peace and solitude from time to time! Thank you for watching!
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL From the videos before this video, I saw that you are not really happy in El Nido town. Because you just like enjoying nature, maybe having chats with other people. But from past videos that you uploaded you are really not the type who likes the hustle and bustle in a commercialized part of El Nido. That is also the reason why you love Bohol so much.
I'm just happy to see you smile, enjoy and be your old self again. Take care Jonathan. 🧢😊
Hi Jonathan, Firstly THANK YOU very much for your videos about my motherland. You have reminded me of how beautiful the Philippines is! You have also shown me places that I had never been to and now yearn to go and visit! PLEASE DO NOT STOP making videos and sharing your experience in all the places there. I now and lived in the USA since the mid 70s, but have visited the Philippines a handful of times, but I, now more than ever, want to rediscover the Philippines. My wife and I plan to visit at end of 2023, hopefully through early 2024 and visit Palawan, Bohol, Cebu and other islands that you've shown me. Again, thank you for your videos and keep them coming. Live long, prosper and may the force be with you! Ayo-ayo!!!! (I even learned a couple of Visayan words from you! hahaha!
Hi jonathan just enjoy your stay here in the Philippines
That’s indeed a nice decision to keep yourself away from the crowded tourist destinations, and you can see that kids even in the urban remote areas can speak English
I can tell that the happiness you're projecting is genuine 'coz it's contagious. I just found myself smiling while watching the video, which rarely happen to me.
I love to hear that! Thank you for watching!
Wow! I'm so proud of the boys they can converse in english !❤
A literal hidden gem. It's so peaceful. A great place to relax, unwind, and de-stress yourself. Such a calming place. Even the people are friendly and welcoming. Plus the good doggos. I hope other travelers and vloggers go to this place to support the place.
Hi Jonathan, nice beach, awesome view, cute dogs & friendly kids. Simple but nice accomodation. Enjoy, ayo-ayo, amping 💕
Hi Socorro! Yes, it was the perfect village for a few days! Thank you for watching!
Hey man! Love the videos and your willingness to just jump into the culture, especially when you stop and talk to people. My wife is from the Philippines and moved to the U.S. about 14 years ago; we are now planning to retire early and move out to Manila island somewhere in the provinces while doing these travel vlogs. Our channel is pretty small right now lol. We're talking about going to visit next year, so let's meet up!
Just FYI Jon. The translation of towel in Filipino is called “Tuwalya”
Another awesome video! It's insane how you're able to find these hidden locations - no tourists! An introvert's dream.
Thank you! Haha, yes this was definitely an introverts dream!
Great place ElNido- so many islands to pick out to live, stay and visit the entire Philippines 🇵🇭
What a gem of a beach!! Wow…love the kids interacting with you and the remoteness of the place!!

Thank you!! You too!
You have a happy, peaceful and friendly soul. Thanks for sharing. Hope to visit El Nido some day.

I’m so happy for you! That place is awesome.
It is!
Puppies, kids and empty beaches. My kind of place. I will add it to the itinerary. Thanks for sharing, my guy. As traveling RUclips anthropologists, we tend to watch a lot of travel content, and we appreciate your approach to the genre. If you are into history, culture, food and nature, we would love to return the favor and inspire you about some cool places around the World. - Bear
Wow, wow, wow. Your best yet. Reminds me of my first trip to the Philippines 50 years ago. I have had a love affair with the Phillipines and the people.. I invented a business to let me return frequently.. It helped the locals to.. All still close friends/family❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for finding this place. We might have to check it out when we go home.
You should! There’s a different road in if you want to avoid that bridge, but if you go the other way you’ll need to pay locals to carry your motorbike across the walking bridge to get there. It takes 4 people who charge 50 pesos each. They seemed to do it often as a job to earn some extra cash.
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL very helpful information. Enjoy your peace and quiet place with the locals. I enjoy watching your videos. Looking forward for your next vlog.
I am just smiling watching this video. I remember when I was in Mindanao when we visit a remote beach where it was just white sand, clear water and corals. Born and raised in the Philippines and moved to California in the mid 2000’s.
I love watching your videos. You gave me new reasons to love my home country with your unique perspective of the Philippines. We actually were looking forward to seeing you in Bohol last week, but you're in El Nido. :(
That's really adventure, nice! I'm tired of city life. I really appreciate that kind of place. Beautiful!
Greta peaceful beach. My property is over on mindanao a close to a small town called paddada. Enjoy Danial and Marivic

Beautiful place indeed. Thanks for not click baiting.
Jonathan,, I’m a new sub from Reno NV,, retired Military here in states,. Thanks a lot man for being humble when dealing/Talking to my people ,,, Philippines is not a perfect country but it is better than most countries I know.. you re from Alabama and you know how to deal with humidity,, I notice you re always saying Salamat after you talk to the people,,, add another word To Salamat,, it’s more respectful this way add the word PO to salamat,, Salamat Po,,,, Peace Jonathan,, America is beautiful country so as the Philippines,,
Beautiful place the kids can understand english. So easy to communicate .. great video... Stay safe jonathan...

This is breathtaking! I will share this video cos I want to go there.
Awesome place!
It was!
Hi Jonathan, thanks for showing us the beautiful and not well known resort Zhaya's. I could imagine that with the dirt road it probably gets inaccessible when they have a lot of rain. Looking forward to part 2 of your video where you go into the town to meet locals.
thanks for watching Ben! There's actually a completely different way that I took to get out after my stay. I'm not sure if that part will be included in part 2 or not. I probably should at least mention the other road in part 2
Local kids the the cutest!! They're so pure... ♥️
They are! We see most of them in part 2!
Wow😊 Hope you enjoy staying here in the Philippines Jonathan🥰 keepsafe
Amazing beach adequate digs super friendly kids love the dogs, now that’s what I call a hidden gem. Good ads you’re providing for free publicity for Zhayas, she’ll be grateful, and perhaps more business. Of course we want to keep hidden gems hidden, selfishly so lol and people need an income so there’s that as a help. At any rate, you’re by far one of my favorite blogs and vlogger! Thank you safe travels happy trails🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️

Hi Jonathon, What an amazing place you have found ! I am enjoying your videos so much. I think the Philippines has got Hawaii beat for beauty. And is so much more affordable than Hawaii and it's high prices. Keep the videos coming. You are a natural for it.
Thank you so much! I’ve never been to Hawaii, but I have heard that it’s not cheap at all. Looks incredibly beautiful also! But it’s hard to beat the Filipino islands as you say! I’ve got my el nido island hopping video coming out soon, which are some of the most impressive islands in the world without a doubt
i just need to be honest.... I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS... wonderful...!!!
Really really nice peace and quiet beach there Jonathan! Great find bro.. enjoy! 🌊🏝
It was! Thanks for watching!
That's a very nice place!
It is!
Youre not the only one foreign that get love at first sight at philippine province ... Also the reason why many western people leave their country and settle for good here in PH... Living a simple life in province is my dream when im old just pure nature
Awesome John...your journey is nothing short of amazing. Thanks for sharing! All the best.
Road to 70k subscribers..have a nice day sir Jonathan..
Thank you! You too!
Hello cow 😀 I LOVE your videos! You always bring a smile to my face. Enjoy your time!
😂 thank you!
Towel in english, tuwalya in tagalog 😁. Enjoy Jonathan, so envious you are in a very warm place now.😁😁😁
Oo thank you! I’m actually about to visit family and will be a few cold places for a few weeks before coming back here 🥶
Tuwalya is derived from Spanish word "toalla." Jonathan, since you speak both English and Spanish, you will pick up Tagalog in no time. Also, "bahay" means house, while "buhay" means life. 😀
@@miraflormedina8234 correct toalla is Spanish word, same as lavacara, labakara in Tagalog.
I believed Jonathan you are A RISINTG vlogger and a serious person in life for such a kind of vlog...
Fabulous.. Thanks...
Welcome my friend to the Philippines tour,,be careful
Thank you!!
I really feel how happy and excited you are on this video.😍❤ Can’t wait for your next video.😁🫰

I love nature and isolated places,, (peace of mind), I hate crowded places like manila.
That smile seems you found your paradise 😊 nice!!!
yeahhhh!
❤to watch your vedio's enjoy
This is whats so beautiful up north in Bolinao and also patar beach not many tourists at all.
Actually many isolated and undiscover place in the philippines waiting to explore
Perfect for ATVs!!! You're such an explorer...cool place! Oh man, tourists will follow you now! LOL
yeah! ATVs or a dirtbike would be a blast around here!
There's no doubt of your excitement about the beach and the place, its show's in your face and and how happy you are! Good thing you found it 👍🏻
I love The Cure too!! Friday, I'm In Love!
They’re so good! Pictures of you, disintegration, untitled, edge of the deep green sea, 2 late, just like heaven.. so many great songs!
@Travel Escapes Do you remember back in the '80s when you can buy a CD for 1 penny? It was in the mail, you buy 8 CDs for a penny then you buy a few more at regular price before you can cancel your subscription. The Cure's The Singles was one of my first CDs. And I like all the songs you mentioned too!
Those boys actually translated towel better than most adults. Most Pinoys would say twalya, which is Spanish(toalla)- towel but "pamunas" is real Tagalog and rarely used.
Tuwalya is a Tagalog word. Not because it came from Spanish that it is not a Tagalog word. Kumusta also came from a Spanish word "como esta". There are tons of Tagalog with with Spanish origins.
Enjoy jonathan. Luckily you found it. Relax to your hearts content.
Not sure if you’ll see this comment as this video is 10 months old but maaaaan I really love these type of videos! I’m from California and this is so satisfying to take a break from the city life when I’m watching these videos
I did see it! Haha.. I’m glad you enjoyed to! These are my favorite types of videos to make for the same reason
