Welcome back Jonathan. As a Boholano (Bol-anon), it warms my heart when tourist goes back to our province, even warmer when you say to other people that you live in Bohol. So, I thank you so much.
Welcome back Jonathan. I ran into you at Alona in November. You were chatting with two other bloggers on the beach (couple with rescue dog) and I was just getting done swimming and walking back to the hotel. That was a nice but unexpected encounter with a celebrity.
Hope I bump into you in one of my travels, Jonathan!! I'm glad I was able to find your vlog before you hit 500k or even 1M subscribers. Thank you for loving the Philippines the same way 9r even more than we locals do.
I do feel very lucky.. honestly. I read so many messages from Filipinos working abroad wishing they could be back in their home country. Many plan on retiring here, though! Hopefully you can come back before too long! Thank you for watching!
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL i spent Christmas & New Year’s Eve there last year and had a blast. Will be going again sometime this year. I live in Pangasinan (an hour and a half away from Baguio) hope to bump into u some day lol. Take care, man!
Hi Jonathan! Nice to see your videos on the Philippines again! Thanks for that info about the tricycles. I love all the Info for my plans to see my mom's home country one day. Thank you, take care!
Hi Jonathan, great to see you back in Bohol. That driver from the airport was so nice in that he waited with you to make sure you were able to get a bike. Can definitely see the attraction to towns like Bohol and how different they are then the bigger cities. The weather looked gorgeous, always nice to enjoy the sunshine.
I will definitely not able to see you in person since I am from Metro Manila. However, I am looking forward seeing you enjoy our country on your Vlogs. Welcome back Jonathan! See you on your next vlog. 😊
Finally, you’re back…I(we) really missed you, and you’re blogs….keep enjoying your interactions with pinoys…and keep exploring the hidden spots….we’re with you…stay safe always…God be with you….
Hi Jonathan, wow you're back in our province of Bohol. Welcome back. I'm very sure that your subscribers will love your upcoming videos. There are lots of beautiful places in Bohol that you haven't explored yet. God bless you always. Ayo-ayo, amping 💕
I think it’s good quality for the price! Just not walking distance to the town if you want that. I prefer being out of the town actually, it’s quite touristy. Thanks for watching!
@Travel Escapes another short but good video man!👍 That recorded message on the bullhorn about the tricycle was so funny for some reason😂 Thanks again!
Oh man! Oh man! Its nice to see your back to my Homeland Bohol. Enjoy your stay and hope you'll stay here for good and have a wonderful life. Lookig forward for a next adventure on your videos. Be well man
The problem is that you'll miss the optimal time to visit Banaue Rice Terraces, before the rice is harvested and the terraces are all green. Not sure, but i think you have to wait for another year for that. Also, the reasons you stated, you can also do all that here in Luzon. You could have just tried looking for a place outside of Manila where you can chill for a few weeks like for example Laguna, or Batangas where there lots of mountains and beaches too.
Laguna and Batangas are relatively large or small cities? I like smaller. A town with nature near a city is ideal. I’m open to ideas! Thanks as always!
@@travelescapesOFFICIAL They're not cities. They're provinces with some developed areas. So instead of going on a plane as you did, you could have just taken a 3-4 hour bus ride to these places which also has a lot of nature and very laid back.
It's so nice to see you back in my home country. Banaue rice terraces is used to be in one of the 8 wonders of the world. I've been there and hoping to go back. You'll breathe fresh air, and kind of in 60's°f, also they speak Ilocano and tagalog there. People there are very nice too. Ilocanos are well known as very thrifty and self sufficient to their food. They grow their own vegetables.
Haha trycicle trycicle😂 Good to see you supporting local businesses. I personally agree with your decision that Bohol is the perfect location to stay in the philippines. Cebu is near to my heart❤
I assume you have been to Anda. I was in February and loved it. I had a motorbike as well. R&D Travellers Inn was my favourite accommodation in my one month trip. I also stayed in Alona Beach, too busy and touristy for me.
Ure a lucky guy for traveling. M Filipino but have immigrated to the US in 1977. I retired now and just starting to see my old country whenever I come home. Uve been to places in the Philippines I’ve never been in. M thinking of moving back to the Philippines now. Thank for ur blogging s. I am learning a lot.
Yes! Bohol is my favorite island (ok, I've only been to a few, but it's still my favorite!) And Camiguin is so beautiful. Can't wait to see your footage from there. There are awesome touristy things (sunken cemetery, old church ruins, White Island, & more) & just gorgeous areas all over.
Hi Jonathan, that piece of rock the vendor in tondo gave you.. is a natural deodorant, how to use it? Just rub it under your arms after shower..you can get them in powder as well, with powder just use it like you put talcum powder under your arms, hope you find this helpful
Welcome back jonathan...i'm inviting you also to visit our province pangasinan and see the hundred island ..bolinao and sunflower farm.....and see the hidden gems of luzon
When I went to Bohol just a couple weeks ago I rented from Edmarcris motorbike rental which was 250 pesos a day, and they were very nice people! They helped me a lot and their spot is right outside of tagbilaran port. That’s the cheapest I found while I was in the Philippines so I had to give a shout-out lol

Wow Appreciate Much For giving Business To The Trycicle Drivers👏👏👏
When I first came to Bohol in 2009, I told myself, this would be the place I would like to retire. Its clean, safe, laid back and lots of greens.
It was a lot different place in 2009. Now very touristy.

Great information and video. Just wanted to say a quick comment to help the RUclips algorithm.
Oh perfect thanks Jason!
That's what I like with Jonathan, he give tips generously, unlike some vloggers trying to be cheap.
I love the banyo word. You said it perfectly right .
The word comes from the Spanish baño, and he is fluent in Spanish.
