    Watching an artist at work is never boring, there is always something to be learned whether techniques, order of procedure, or just seeing that being organized is so important. Keep on doing what you're doing and we'll keep watching.
    Most of us would see this job and relegate the car to the wrecker, but seeing it broken down into individual procedures in an ordered fashion is very helpful!

    The lenghts you go through for all these cinematic shots...Setting up the cameras in a way that they don't overlap, taking the time to do a simple act, like throwing a rusty piece on the ground over and over just to catch it from multiple angles...
    And just the fact that you are restoring this piece of automotive history deserves nothing but respect!
    You, dear sir are an artist!

    So much respect for the patience this takes. Over the last few years I've revived an old Honda CB360 and got it back on the road. I didn't do a full restoration but instead a 'restomod' cafe racer kind of deal. I nearly went nuts trying to get all of the dirt out of the fins of that air cooled engine, and I still didn't really fully restore it, just got it 'a lot cleaner'. Great job taking the time to do things as well as you can!

    • @RRCRestoration
      @RRCRestoration  2 месяца назад +4

      Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment. I know exactly how you feel trying to clean air cooled fins. You maybe could've sent it out for vapor blasting if the engine was apart?

    • @thatdustinleblanc
      @thatdustinleblanc 2 месяца назад

      @@RRCRestoration Yeah, having parts blasted, and then painted/powder coated would have been amazing, but I was working with an itty bitty budget just to get the bike back on the road and 'lookin cool; so I diy'd all the cleaning. Certainly spent a lot of time watching videos and researching forums for 'how hard and expensive is it to get your own media blasting setup' but ultimately never had the money/space for all the gear. Eventually though!

    Stunning work as usual. Thankyou for condensing a months worth into one post, so many would've eked that out to a half dozen posts. I think you needn't worry about your viewers thinking it was a quick job, everyone can see that you invest so much into dverything you touch. As usual, thanks for sharing.

    For me these are the most exiting part of restoring anything, becuase you can see al the handcrafting wich is done, much more if there is not any spare that you can buy and through in. I reallly enjoy watching your videos. Greetings from Argentina.

    Something to consider. Several of the other YTers that I watch have gone to an inexpensive HVLP sprayer for the sealer that you are using with great success. This way everything gets covered and you can then brush into some of the more rust prone areas.

    Watching this makes me grateful I'm living in Canberra where the air is dry and there is no road salt. I only have to deal with people who insist on opening their doors onto my car and hitting it while trying to park their own vehicles... And it goes without saying that as a motorcycle rider, I am acutely aware of Teslas and dual-cab ute drivers.
    But I am totally envious of the huge space in which you carry out excellent standard of work.
    Cheers

      @@RRCRestoration I have a USDM 99 Civic Hatch DX model. Was thinking of turing it into a track car as it has a good amount of body damage thats fixable, and no rust. But life changed things. My favorite is my 97 Del Sol Si. Was my daily for a while. Now I got some goodies for it while fixing a part I struggled to find.

    I am under no illusion how long this all takes. The fact you turn things over as quickly as you do, defies this fact. I wish I'd sent you my old T2b Devon Campervan, which was like a postage stamp. In as much as you could tear it round the periphery the rust was so bad. It was like painting the proverbial Forth Rail bridge...(I now have a newer T6)
