I have a 2019 Abarth 500 and in the US version they fixed every problem you spoke about- seats, boost gauge, etc. The new colors are more contemporary (I ordered sting ray gray with bronze rims with no ridiculous vinyl) and the front end is much better looking. They did however, only give us a 5" screen which is smaller than my smart phone... and it turns the back up camera in to 4:3 format with very low resolution, so it's like trying to look at Dick Tracey's watch. Aside from that it may be the greatest car ever made.
Just a note on the seat adjuster, I think I have a theory, but I may be wrong - could it be that when the car is made in left hand drive the seats are swapped around, therefore the driver's adjustment would be on the inside and not the outside? I'm probably wrong, but it sounds a bit feasible.

The one thing my mk8 st is missing is a boost gauge. It picked up speed very well was surprised how quick it did.

Hi Jhonny, did this car have android auto/apple car play compatibilty ?
What did it feel like getting back in your St after being in the abarth for so long ? Would you get a abarth or did you think the St was a all round better car ?
Andrew Maple The ST is remarkably different to the Abarth. Getting back in felt very low for one - that was most noticeable as you sit so high in the Abarth. But the flip side is that it’s far easier to get in and out of the Abarth. I genuinely would struggle to choose between the two. They both have completely different driving styles too. In an ideal world, I’d like an ST for me, and an Abarth for my other half so that I can drive it 😁
Say you had a modified MK7 Fiesta ST about 240BHP would you rather keep the ST and take it further or grab one of these?
DSG Farts Difficult one but as you are asking the question, probably time for a change! Try get a test drive in one of these that is a bit longer than just round the block. You need to live with it to understand it, but once you get there, it’s an awesome piece of kit.

I know the seats are INCREDIBLY frustrating and they should've fixed it from the factory.... But can't they just be swapped around?

Is this the new 2019 model with that new yellow instead of the old modena yellow or is it the same one?
ArnauUM This is the model prior to 2019. The new Competizione has a green colour called Adrenaline Green. It’s just as vibrant as this yellow though!
@@JBCTR Thanks! Appart from the new green it also has a new yellow and a matt grey! That's why I thought this was maybe the new yellow since I can't appreciate the difference.
ArnauUM Ah ok. I’ve not seen the grey or the yellow. According to the UK website, there’s just the green! Which country are you based in?
@@JBCTR Spain, but after a quick search it's also in IT, DE and FR. Seems like only UK aren't getting those two new colors. Nice content by the way. Still deciding either Fiesta ST, Abarth 595, Mazda MX5 or some other options

1000kg is much? look at any other modern small hatchback and you will change your mind.
