@@Driven247 Mines similar, extremely good condition, last owner just had both sills and rear welded so it's absolutely solid as a rock too! It's a classic (not selection). Doesn't have many options to be honest but that's what I wanted. I always went for very high spec cars and I've had so many issues I've just wanted something simple! Although I only realised there's no heated seats on the way home (my first car EVER without them😭) cheers :)👍
Glad your cars sorted now. I had the cam belt kit changed on my abarth. It takes 3-4 hours to fit. I also had rallyflapz mud flaps fitted at the same time and got the car back that afternoon.

We have a simple rule in our house after a bunch of cambelt issues…..chain driven cams only!
Ha ha! Good rule!
Chains are usually far more problematic than belts.
The rule in my house is no chain driven, at least for now 😂 had a chain snap on me with no warnings at all… always kept on top of fluid levels and it literally snapped at 70K miles… BMW 1 series…
@@pedrocunha7157 yes my pal had the same with a 5 series…..seems BMW can’t make good camchains or belts…..is one of the reasons I’m in a Honda now👍
Well done for keeping on top of the levels… that’s something I check every 2 or 3 days too, takes a couple minutes and can save you a big bill… glad you got it sorted though 😄👍
Thanks Pedro, remember when I had one of my brand new Abarth’s once, my Dad asked if I had checked the oil, I hadn’t and it had drunk it being a brand new engine, luckily I caught it in time I guess, topped it up and made sure I checked it from then! You learn from mistakes for sure!

Regardless of whether a warranty has expired a repair done inside the warranty period will usually carry its own guarantee for parts and lsbour for 12 months.
Think this video was way too long to basically say you had a coolant leak possibly a faulty pump. More likely it was fitted incorrectly or without a seal. Lucky they never stipped the bolt holes....now that would be what I call a big job.
Fair point about the parts warranty.
Video being long was because I wanted to tell the whole story, not miss any bits out, plus I can be extra chatty on camera sometimes, hoping it’s not too much of an issue…but thanks for watching!

@@Driven247 it was in the sun a lady found a supposed baby hedgehog she put food and water in then took it a vet to be told she had been nursing a little pom pom 🤣🤣. Your mic looks exactly like it. I'm in West Midlands prob why you haven't heard! But Google it a good laugh and wasn't april fools 😅
