    You did a great job with the editing in this video; well done!! I’m surprised you did a complete 180 on the Comp compared to the Turismo. This reminds me that I’m about to hit 10k miles on my Defender, so I’ll need to do another update video. Great video as always, Tish! 😁

      Can't think speed bumps would be much fun and the tyres won't give much comfort or protection from kerbs or punctures on anything but a perfect surface, which are rare these days. Whilst this would be great fun on a racetrack, I think that the Turismo would be a better choice for every day driving with the road conditions and speed limits, crawling along in 20mph limits in this car would be disheartening and uncomfortable.

  • @bethbrickman8552

    It is actually quite a rare car because you don’t see them very often on the roads . Also the lime green is such a nice colour. It is so pretty 🌈

  • @richardhargrave6082

    The reason why the fuel consumption seems to be poor is the tiny tank, and the Monza makes you rev it more.
    As you say Tish, there are more capable cars. None of which will put such a big smile on your face.

    Love the Abarths, still my first love when it comes to cars, but had to change to something else. No faults, never had any breakdowns or anything like that had a 2010 plate and a 2017 plate. Unfortunately in the uk they come with no security features and my first one was stolen outside my house and the second one was written off by a drunk driver earlier this year. So I ended up out of pocket TWICE and could not bring myself to buying another purely because of the bad luck I’ve had but the car itself is beautiful and nippy.

    I've got my eye on the Turismo and it's for a couple of visual reasons - I think the fat exhaust looks better than the weedy twin pipes of the Monza and the Turismo wheels are prettier. It's a shame though, as I really like the sound of the Monza, I just can't live with how the pipes look.

    So it's a good car if you don't drive it 👍
    So is it better than the turismo? As the only difference is you drove the turismo yet hardly drive the comp 🤷‍♂️ didn't tell us much about the difference and if the extra 15bhp was worth it

    • @AutoSocialUK
      @AutoSocialUK  2 года назад +3

      Yer sorry, it was a little all over the place. Basically I haven't 'over driven' the Comp. I think this is the perfect car for driving a few times a week or short journeys, it means every time you get into it you appreciate it. Drive them too much and things like the ride comfort and lack of cruise control ect. start to grate on you. So this was just circumstantial.
      In terms of difference; the main things are the uplift in power, record Monza exhaust and sabelt seats. All these things make the Comp a better car for what it is designed for 'Fun' so 100% I think the Comp is worth it over the Turismo. BUT if you want a comfortable ride, comforts like cruise control and automatic lights or wipers and something that you can fly under the radar In. then no Abarths would tick those boxes.
      Hope that clears things up, it is tricky to get all my thoughts out on camera sometimes. Thanks for watching.

      In the UK they achieved the maximum 5 star ncap rating on release. In the new test they only managed 3 stars but their safety hasn't changed - it's just that they don't have the active safety systems such as collision warning and lane assist which is needed to get 4 or 5 stars
