  • Adam shows the step-by-step process to install the F150LEDS Hood Spartan Lights on your Ford Maverick!
    You can check them out here: www.f150leds.c...
    Our Spartan series lights give you a unique advantage by displaying a 180-degree field of view thanks to its dual tri-chip side-emitting design. Six CREE XTE 5W chips are forward facing, while six additional (3 on each side) CREE XTE 5W chips disperse lights on both sides of the Spartan cube. This gives you maximum light both forward and to the sides of your truck.
    We truly appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at F150LEDS.com!

    Would love to see fog lights that would be made to fit the plastic insert that covers the area where the tow hooks fit. I have a Mav without fogs and cannot find any fogs that do not need massive modifications. to go on my Lariat. Any suggestions ???

      Great idea Dave, thanks for sharing! We don't have a fog option for the Maverick ready yet but will keep that one in mind 😎. Thanks for your support!

    The wireless switch... There must be some parastitic drain on the battery when set to the off position?

    • @F150LEDs
      @F150LEDs  6 месяцев назад +1

      It requires a very small bit of power to be ready for your incoming signal, but generally nothing you would ever notice as long as your truck does not sit for 6+ months without being driven. Thank you for your question/comment. We look foward to serving you soon!

    The cord running from the lights at 1:30 and 4:00 looks different in length. I just got my order and noticed the cord wasn't reaching near as far as the one during the install. I came back to see what I was doing wrong and noticed the difference. Is it just me, or are these two different sets of lights being used during the initial bracket install in the beginning and when you're actually putting it on the truck itself?

      The Spartan lighting does have extended connector lengths. Please reach out directly to our support team who can make sure you have what you need!

    question. I own a XLT model without tow hooks. Is there a way to fish power line through from top 2 bottom ?Not seeing a whole lot of open space to do so.

    • @F150LEDs
      @F150LEDs  2 года назад

      Hey Kip, good question! We haven't tried this out ourselves just yet but if you watch our raptor grill kit install video you'll see how we used a wire hanger to run a wire down to the side marker housing, a similar method may be what you are looking for!

    How do you operate the lights? Is there a switch? How and where is it installed to control the lights , we can only see the remote option,

    • @F150LEDs
      @F150LEDs  Год назад

      Hey Richard thanks for the question and sorry this isn't clearer in the video! These lights are operated by wireless remote and at the moment this is the only option. Our R&D team was unable to find a way to run a wired switch from the engine bay into the cab of the maverick that we felt comfortable recommending.

    Question: How would you install these with an S Pod BantaMX

    • @F150LEDs
      @F150LEDs  Год назад

      Hey Billy, they would work great with that control panel. You would just need to run our harness to your Banta module instead of utilizing our switch options. Thanks for your support, we look foward to serving you!

    Looks weird !! It's like back in the '60s when you had to mount signal lights on the top of the fender on imported Toyota Trucks. Not the look I want for my Maverick! But to each his own ...

      Hey Dave, thanks for watching! We love the look & light output of the Spartans on our Maverick hood and have gotten great feedback on them but we totally understand they wont be for 100% of the Maverick owners out there! Please check out all of our Maverick LED options, we would love to help you find something to help improve the safety, performance and appearance of your Maverick! Hi there! You can run power from the battery under your rear seat. You may also be able to use your 40 amp accessory panel found under the hood of the truck. The Spartans require 5 amp each. (12v @ 60w) Thank you for your comment and for being a part of the F150LEDs family! We look foward to serving you soon!
