Installation made following your instructions & working perfectly, great video. I do have a conflict after connecting. The trailer sensor says trailer connected & it deactivates the “blind spot & cross traffic sensor”. Is there a way to bypass this. I would like to have both activated. Really liked the blind spot aid.
the problem i have with this installation is the it removes the lines guide on the backup camera on my EB Lariat..and the trailer connect mode is always on...I think the connection needs to be further up the main wire harness, and not on the trailer harness..
So, Raffi, I never saw where you attached the strip to the truck. Did you use the tape? I ask because, if you did, what to you do when you have a flat as you've blocked access to the lowering bolt.
I would like to add front spot lights or fog lights but I have found any good looking ones or ones that fit perfectly int he front bumper. I will add them but not just yet.
Hello Al Forte and thanks for the comment. Per your question I think you can definitely wire directly to the turn signals. Even though I connected to the pins on the back I might change them in the future to the signal lights so I can have my reverse lines back like you mentioned. I hope that that helps.
Hard wiring them to the taillights does solve the problem with Copilot 360. If you decide to do this you should connect to the wiring on the truck side of the Taillight assembly connector. That way the taillight assembly can be removed by unplugging the connector. To make your connections you need the color codes for the wiring. Note: the color of the wiring on the taillight assembly is different from the wiring on the truck side of the connector. When two colors are shown the second one is a stripe. If your truck has Co-Pilot 360, the truck will also automatically disable those safety features if it thinks there is a trailer attached. The lights are cool, but they're not worth sacrificing the safety features of Co-Pilot.
How can this be remedied? I have the Co-Pilot 360 and like that feature? I’m not great with wiring.. So what would be the instruction to do that correctly?
So there have wire connectors that have solder and are heat shrink with a lighter. I can’t tell ya how many times I have found a short in the plastic snap kind like you are using. :( that is a truck that will have brake light problems if you sell it and know one knows where that plastic is.
Great job. Does it cover up the spare tire access hole? On a Lariat, it seems like it does though I'd think they are the same. Also, does the bottom of the tailgate block the view of the light strip when it is closed?
No it did not cause it to have the check engine. However I will be doing an updated video on this soon where I showed how I changed the cables to the lights instead of the cables I have them connected to. Stay tuned subscribe if you haven't to be notified when I post the video.
The can't be all center because there is a bump in the back all the way to the left side making it impossible for the adhesive to adhere and the cables needs to bend to get routed on the side of the tailgate. The same happens at the end of the light on the right side. If I moved them more to the left the strip light will come off after a few days for not having a proper adhesion.
Keep em coming man! Looks sweet!
Thanks 🙏 I will do. I got more videos on the way soon.
Thanks. That's an option I will definitely consider.
Great video. FYI they have 4 pin splitters that you can use rather than breaking the wire cover.
Awesome job.
Thanks 🙏

I haven’t connected a trailer yet so I don’t know if it conflicts with trailer lights. If you find out it does conflicts please let me know. Thanks.
You will probably have to connect to the tail light wiring instead of the trailer wiring
If the trucklette thinks you have e a trailer attached, is that affecting anything else, like transmission/suspension settings, or anything else?
Very cool R.R.!

That is badass

What strip you mean? The light on the back the connection to the lights you mean.
The running/parking lights weren’t working, and does your left and right turn work while your foot is off the brake?
Nice!! Any plans for adding front spot lights, at the grill or above the roof?
I would like to add front spot lights or fog lights but I have found any good looking ones or ones that fit perfectly int he front bumper. I will add them but not just yet.
Is it possible to hard wire the LED taillights directly to turn signals like the reverse light and have the Copilot 360 activated.

Can you post a link where you bought the LED strip please.

I don't have Co-Pilot 360 that's why. If that would have messed with my Co-Pilot 360 I wouldn't have messed with it. Thanks for the info.

Exactly. Mine were bugging out, thought it was a bad unit, exchanged it, and same thing, waste of time with 360
@@andrewandrade8716could probably wire it all to the brake light wiring instead of trailer 4pin connector wiring

You also lose your grid lines for backup camera when tow is activated.
Can we have an update on how the audio system came out? Any changes?
I put the same on in too.
Nice one ☝️ right!!
did this installation cause the check engine light or is that something seperate?
No it did not cause it to have the check engine. However I will be doing an updated video on this soon where I showed how I changed the cables to the lights instead of the cables I have them connected to. Stay tuned subscribe if you haven't to be notified when I post the video.

Nice! Although it seems like the lights aren't centered. Maybe it's just looks that way.

Thank you
DOES ANYBODY HAVE INSTRUCTIONS TO WIRE IT UP A 60 IN BAR LIGHT
Not only is the LEDs off centered from the mounting location but those TTaps are the worst choice ever for installs.
With Bliss it does not working it will turn off the system
The timing is up with the other blinker drive me nuts
Timing? I see it fine.
install led turn signals.
