    Not Em in the first lines of the verse - it's G6. It needs the g in the bass.

    Beginning verse, try Am to Em with an added G.

    Yes, definitely a G6.
    Also, it doesn’t go to an FM, it’s actually an FM7.

    Second chord in the verse is sounding like a G6 to me, then before the final Am it suspends on a A9

    You change often , g6 with em and amsus4 with am. Its tricky. U follow the singing and the strumming sounds down up good but with only 1 guitar the strumming should follow vocal line. If understand u will figure it oit..imagine playing a.little the singing notes when changing chords. But not em for sure.
