As soon as I heard him, I thought "wow." I've been to a few Beatles tribute concerts and I think this guy sounds the most like John.

Saw these last night, (Saturday April 13th Halifax victoria theatre) absolutely brilliant, emotional and fitting tribute to the beatles.

I have seen them 4 times and playing this was so unexpected but so fantastic, it's a pity Stephen Hill's high e string breaks mid-way through (you can see his disappointment)....
The Fab Lads also are doing the song in full. They did it at their November 18th show

Just like Free As A Bird and Real Love, this should never have been released as a Beatles song. It wasn't written as one, John wrote it in the 70s. If the 3 songs were going to be released it should have been as John Lennon (solo). But of course as they had the name Beatles attached to them, they were always going to sell more than as Lennon solo songs.
Face it all you people who bought any or all 3, you were scammed.

Saw The Bootleg Beatles in Ipswich last night and they sang this, gave me goosebumps. Absolutely brilliant night and feltbid been transported back in time. These guys are brilliant!

Brilliant, yes I've seen them 4 times now and they never disappoint, always a different theme to each concert (eg: Abbey Road; Roof Top Concert; Shea Stadium etc).

I thought screaming teens was annoying but chattering audiences are worse.

@dl9384 I really like this line up. Although I believe tyson who plays john lennon is leaving. Generally the line ups have been a very high standard. All the guys are great musicians in their own right.
