Amazing, beautiful example of a rock n roll guitar solo. George Harrison is one of the greats.
Rock n roll? Hardly!
Paul wrote and recorded the solo on the album,he didnt trust anyone else
@@zahirmansour520 cap
But underrated poor george
@@zahirmansour520 That completely false! McCartney trusted George Harrison, who recorded the guitar solo on 'Let it Be'. Harrison played the guitar solo on the album version, and the single version of the song.
I finally learned it! I played with it in sync with the demo, and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever done. Brilliant.
thats a good feeling , right?
Paul Nowicki nah not really. It’s a GREAT feeling
Almost there :)
I'm planning to buy a guitar. I want to play this solo badly. This is one of my fav. Songs
@@august9387 have you bought one yet?
It's great that there is no extra chatting, just simple and focused. I haven't found teachers who explain the chord changes in the solo, so thanks for that. Otherwise, we don't learn anything, we just memorize.
Just learned my first full solo ever!!! Playing along with track feels INCREDIBLE!!! Thank you so much!
That sent shivers down my spine! One of George’s best solos
Bodies aching all the time
Goodbye everybody I’ve got to goooo
Got to leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama oooh ooo ooo ooo
@@mcbackfat1304 (anyway the wind blows)
Yung Seelachs Besides Brian’s guitar solos that’s my favorite part of whole song
@@mcbackfat1304 Dear lady can you hear the wind blow, and did you know, your Stairway lies on the whispering wind!
Finally, somebody Who knows how to teach. There are a million guitar tutorials on RUclips and I would say 90% of the instructors are god-awful. You are a breath of fresh air. Yes I have a request… Teach us to play “while my guitar gently weeps“.
I have to say its soooo refreshing when the solo is explained in this manner. Understanding the lead lines in relation to the chords is a critical component to improving improvisational skills. Great lesson…thanks!
Outstanding! Such a beautiful Song/ Solo! Your playing and teaching are among the best on the entire internet!
George Garrison was AMAZING!
His use of Chord Tones in this Classic, is really an excellent way to understand through the ears!
Hurray!!! Finally I've learnt it completely!! THANKS A MILLION TIMES ROB !!😀
Line 1= 1:02 , line 2 = 3:31, line 3 = 7:51
Thanks!

Thank you
Thanks thank so much sir

That solo was Lennon's version, this was the album version, Harrison played the thinner telecaster solo normally shown in other tutorials on the single version, the reason? Producer Phil Spector preferred Lennon's "live" sounding version.
Several of the Beatles guitar breaks are thought to be Harrison's when in fact they are played by Lennon and in some instances McCartney, Lennon and Harrison's solos are easily differentiated, especially in the later years, as Lennon's solos tended to have a little more attack on the opening notes. One track which remains dubious is that of Hey Bulldog where both musicians solos were tested but no-one seems to know for sure who played the one which found its way onto vinyl. Get back I think the solo was played by Lennon and on the abbey road album "the End" had all 3 outfield musicians each taking a solo. Hope this Helps.
Man,
There is no chance that John Lennon has played the solo of Let It Be.
He was a bass player with Fender 6 on this song. Harrison did the solo, with different guitars, and different versions.
I agree. If Daddy Bear has some substantiation, I'll gladly take a look, but I think this solo was a bit beyond John's skill level. True, Lennon did become a decent soloist towards the end of The Beatles' run (such as nice solos on "Honey Pie" and "Get Back," but the "Let it Be" solo was more complex, and demonstrated a fuller fretboard knowledge. @@igordisco
I thought George played and wrote all 3 solos: album, single and 'Let it be... naked' version
Muchas gracias, te felicito.
best one
Great lesson, so I will finally make it
Hey cernaruka, happy to be of help. Thanks for reaching out, please share when you have a chance. -Rob
thanks a lot ma. I finally learned it
fantastic lesson, thank you very much. I've learned to play it now, but just want to now learn the lead he continues to play under the vocals. I can't find any videos teaching lead past the end of the solo. Thanks!
