Your way of showing the scale shapes on the fretboard is amazing and Unique! It helps so much to visual and to learn faster!!! Keep on going making more great videos like do. Thank you very much!!!
Thank you. I found this quite easy to follow and instantly recognised the lead technique. I also love the 'colour coded' diagram of the fingers...great tip. I look forward to more lessons like this. Well done.
"I've got blisters on my fingers." That comes at the end of Helter Skelter. It sure sounds like John, but it was Ringo. He later said it came at the end of a 3 hour jam, and it was the only time it happened to him.
I’ve been playing guitar for 40 years, learned parts of songs from well known rock and blues bands, but apart from that have never got beyond 1st shape pentatonic and what you call the house of blues. In a matter of minutes I can see that the way you present your lessons is going to help me gain the confidence to know what I’m doing all over the neck. Superb, patreon here I come.
Beautiful lesson. This was one of the first guitar songs I learned in my teens, but never got to learning the solo. Now I can. And I see the genius of George Harrison. When I play the solo, seems like I feel his soul in each note. Beautiful. Thanks.
Amazing job!!!!! The most heart-melting in this solo, is the bending and the "Cat's meow" in the last final part!! I got it!!! All because of your very detailed teaching!!!!! THANKS A HUGE LOT!!!!
De todos los videos de RUclips de tablaturas es increíble que este sea el único que explica increiblemente bien tarde muy poco en aprender este solo con este video muy bien gracias por subirlo
I am self/RUclips taught for the last two years. I've purchased two online courses. And, while I am very theory knowledgeable now, which was my first priority, I am frustrated & wondering why I am not learning faster now....Not learning whole songs. This lesson, your method, has just kicked the door down. It laid the pieces out for me. You explain the key it's played in; from theory knowledge I know where notes are (and chords to play). You present the tabs in digestible chunks, identifying the key home base. Dude, this is awesome!! I have the whole song down. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks Looking forward to seeing more and learning more with you.
Excellent Lesson. You make me realize that this solo actually following the Pentatonic Scale. Best of all, you do not only guide us through the solo note by note, but also show us the direction where we can improvise. Thanks Chief. Cheers from Indonesia.
I've watched a lot of tutorials from a lot of instructors, but this is the first one I've seen using the metronome, and keeping the same pace through all sections of the song. You can't imagine how helpful this is!! Most of the time they're all over the map with their speed, from slow to fast and anything in-between, and I'm not able to get the pace right. But with the way you present it here, I finally got it. Also I'm loving the animated fretboard showing the notes being played and the scales they fit into. Very helpful. The award for best presentation of a guitar solo lesson goes to .... YOU! Newly subscribed and will be watching more of your lessons. Cheers!
Agreed. Best visual presentation I’ve ever seen for visual learners like myself this is transformative. Sorry to ask a dumb question but what do you have the metronome set to. I have an old wooden metronome from my grandmothers violin days and I never know what speed to have it at
Great breakdown on a classic very recognizable solo but what really impressed me was how you split the screen up and had all the screens interacting together especially the bottom fretboard diagram with coinciding scales, root notes, and interactive moving tabulation absolute GENIUS!naturally I subscribed 👍🇨🇦
Thank you for this nice tutorial. I only needed the first 30 seconds to learn the solo, but the tab was really helpful. My daughter learns the song on the piano so I thought it'd be a good idea to play along.
Fantastic lesson, really loved the implementation of metronome for rhythm and the scale diagrams and even the awesome tips at the end! Subscribed, and I will definitely spread the word for your channel!
Hey we just chatted on Facebook. I'm a man of many hats and also Johnny Bull. Thanks for the lesson here it really helped me finish learning and tie up lose ends. I like the way you show the tab on the screen with red highlights.
I have a learning disability and I can’t tolerate the like “look at this whole neck learn a system to memorize the notes” techniques. I literally have been playing for 13 years and this has opened my eyes. Do this forever please I’ll pay lmao.
Awesome! I'm excited for you. Did you find the visuals helpful or confusing? Also, what are some specific concepts or techniques that you are looking to learn? Thanks -Gary
Hi Gary, this will be the first song/riff that I'll be learning from you. Have just let the lesson run right through to get a feel of your teaching style. The graphics really tie in with your "2.5 shapes" lessons. I'll let you know how I go with it. Cheers.
Today is another day on lesson with you. I am so hooked since yesterday. This tab way of playing sometimes confusing me. Do you have a video explaining 🤔 That you awesome teacher.
Très bonne idée de mettre la gamme correspondante au solo. On comprend tout de suite ce qui se passe. Félicitations. J'espère qu'il y en aura d'autres. Love your tab.
Garry, if I may suggest another solo to be included on your lesson, I'd like to see Lady Starlight by Scorpion the electric guitar version. That solo is also extremely beautiful. Cheers from Indonesia.

Great lesson and quick and easy to learn.. Helter Skelter was the song John Lennon said "I got blisters on my fingers.. I think??
that is one the best soloing tutorial i have watched
Richard Stark
I always thought it was Lennon but lately have been told it was Ringo. Sounds like Lennon to me.
Your way of showing the scale shapes on the fretboard is amazing and Unique!

I agree. That along with the animation easily makes these the best lessons on RUclips.
thank you, Andy!
I hope you got the patent of this system, you deserve to profit from it 👏
He does not only shows us note by note, but also open the door for our own improvisation.
Dude by far the best guitar lesson videos on RUclips thank you so much man...God Bless!!!
Thanks so much Christopher! I appreciate the support

Best part of Helter Skelter ngl
and Ringo's line made Manson believe it was a signifier of the imminent race war (related to picking cotton, I think) along with the Pigs lyrics.
