I am very grateful for Counrtney's videos! I like her as an instructor and also have been doing 2 of her workouts for five days now and am not planning to quit. I am very new to yoga and for me most of these routines are not hard. At the end of the seance I am sweaty but feel good. I am more flexible than most people, so maybe that's why it's not hard for me. They are just perfect. I want to thank you for these amazing opportunities to practice yoga at home and I will enjoy your other videos, too!
I've been on youtube for a few years now trying to find good yoga videos that are also a little challenging to get my energy flowing. I realize this video is from a year or so ago, but I love and watch all of Courtney's yoga videos! After watching so many others and not finding any that worked for me it was a relief to find these. 20 minute yoga routine was timed correctly and great for starting out the morning. I really enjoyed the room that can be viewed, it's so nice and peaceful with the light streaming in. Instructor had a nice, soothing voice and articulated clearly. I'm probably somewhere between beginner and intermediate and thought all stretches and poses were great. Thank you for posting this so I can do yoga at home!
I've never tried Yoga before and have found your short 20 minute videos to be just perfect. I found all the poses in your video quite easy to do, even though I've never done yoga before. Thank you for your videos.
I think you're an awesome yoga teacher. You don't go too fast which is really helpful if you're a beginner. And the poses were challenging enough to make me want to come back and learn more. Thank you for sharing. This yoga newbie is hooked.
I have been practicing yoga for years at home (with one worn out DVD for most of the time!). I love this channel and Courtney Bell's instruction is just perfect - her voice is not irritating and the pace is great (not too much yattering in between poses!). Thank you and I might put my DVD out to pasture now :)

After a serious horse crash I decided at the late age of 61 to try yoga as a way to regain strength and flexibility. Your gentle instruction (in the privacy of my own home) has been wonderful, and as I learn the names for the poses and observe the smooth transitions, I may even become confident enough to join a class. This beginners morning yoga was amazing! While I have a functional understanding of yoga I haven't done any in a very long time and this was so perfect for warming up and shaking the dust off some very tired muscles! Some of the poses felt like a real challenge but nothing seemed totally out of reach. Thank you so much for sharing this, it will hopefully become part of my morning routine!

I am 52, diagnosed with MS 15 years ago, but have always been athletic-biking, hiking, TRX strength training, and your workouts are helping me through a difficult time pain-wise, changing my body with improved flexibility and balance- and hence my mind in similar ways! I'm on my 4th week with you (and Erica from PsycheTruth too) and you're challenging me enough to want to never want to miss a day but forgiving and real, with great explanations enough to not be intimidating! I really enjoy this! I'm not very flexible but I found these poses really achievable and I can feel myself stretching out and relaxing with every pose. Brilliant!

I'm a beginner and I could do all the stretches! I'm not used to yoga, but sometimes when I need to relax or stretch a little I do one video. I was going to workout this morning, but instead I did this morning yoga. Feels good :)
These videos are amazing! I uses this in the morning, and the yoga for beginners 1 in the evening followed with a meditation and then a savasna at bedtime. Thank you sooooo much Courtney! Your a life saver!

Hi Courtney. Thank you for recording this video. Loving it. My back is stiff when I first wake up in the morning so I'm using your yogo video to loosen up and stretch. It's perfect. It's short, straightforward and takes so little time to do that I have no excuses not to. I keep my yoga mat next to my bed and run through this video every morning before breakfast. Just used this video guided 20 min yoga routine to help me wake up. Loved it! Great stretches, very thorough instructions for new poses, and just the right pace for early morning, while still waking up. Will use again often. Thanks for sharing!
I have been following this routine every morning for a little over a week now, along with a few others on alternate afternoons (beginner's weight loss/back pain relief/flex and strength) and the difference I can feel already is amazing! I have a misaligned pelvis which causes a lot of back pain for me, but now my muscles feel loose and free all day long! Thank you Courtney, you are having a very positive impact on my body and spirit :)

this is a great yoga workout. I still consider myself a beginner and this was excellent for me. beginner doesn't mean "this is my first time doing yoga or any activity". that classifies as a novice. this video was excellent, no complaints. infinite gratitude
I love this... there are a lot of poses I can't do yet because I have a muscle disorder. I always felt inadequate when I'd go to yoga classes and would have to skip moves. Thank you for saying out loud that it's okay. I feel better :)

This was a very nice way to start my morning, thank you! I'm definitely a beginner to yoga, and this would have been hard for me if I didn't already have core strength from doing exercises like Russian twists (similar to boat pose). So I would recommend this video to someone who is new to yoga but already has some physical strength and flexibility from doing other fitness activities. I really like you as an instructor - you remind me of my aunt in a lot of ways so I felt like I was trying out a yoga routine with someone I already knew. Thank you again!
Found your videos doing a Google search for "beginners yoga." I found others, but in comparison I think your videos are far superior. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow, which is where other instructors lose their students, especially beginners. I practice twice a day (currently with your morning stretch and your 3-part series for weight loss) and I feel so much better. Your videos plus replacing my late meal of the day with a green smoothie has really proven to be beneficial. Oh, in checking out your Facebook page, we share much of the same philosophy on life and an appreciation for the great teachers. This video has really helped me. Just within the past week I've been having problems with major aches and pains throughout my hips down to my feet. I started this video yesterday in the morning when I wake up and it takes a lot it out. I then follow up with a cup of hot Thai basil tea to help with inflammation.

Great video, thank you Courtney. I've used it for morning yoga several times. I think it would be helpful in future videos if you say how many reps of a certain exercise you will be doing beforehand, for example the boat pose to half boat pose repetitions. Also just to point out you say we are going to do about 8 of these, I counted and it's more like 12. Just nice for the viewer to know what they are getting into.

Anyway I just wanted to say that yesterday night I couldn't get to sleep so I tried the yoga exercise video for back pain again and all the movements seemed more natural the second time round ^_^ I'm seriously thinking of taking yoga up, it makes me feel so much better. Hands down the best way to start my morning yoga. When my body is still waking up and still tight, this routine is the best for a nice wake up.

Nicely paced for a morning routine. I enjoyed doing this as a change to my usual yoga workouts.
This video has really helped me. Just within the past week I've been having problems with major aches and pains throughout my hips down to my feet. I started this video yesterday in the morning when I wake up and it takes a lot it out. I then follow up with a cup of hot Thai basil tea to help with inflammation.

Great video, thank you Courtney. I've used it for morning yoga several times. I think it would be helpful in future videos if you say how many reps of a certain exercise you will be doing beforehand, for example the boat pose to half boat pose repetitions. Also just to point out you say we are going to do about 8 of these, I counted and it's more like 12. Just nice for the viewer to know what they are getting into.

Hi Courtney! Thank you for this video! I started watching your lessons yesterday, I even left a comment. Anyway I just wanted to say that yesterday night I couldn't get to sleep so I tried the yoga exercise video for back pain again and all the movements seemed more natural the second time round ^_^ I'm seriously thinking of taking yoga up, it makes me feel so much better. All that stretching is exactly what my body needed and still needs. I'm glad to have found this channel :) Have a great day! Namastè
