I’m a teen who loves dancing, but my summer has been… comfortable. I decided to start stretching daily to prepare for my 14+ advanced musical theatre. This is day one, and this video is perfect! I could feel my muscles loosening and my legs getting sore, but I don’t feel any after pain. What do you say I keep you updated? I love your voice and attitude, and of course the puppy. I was hurt 7 years ago during a gymnastics accident. My back hasnt been the same since, constant back pain every day. I went to physical therapy for it and that helped a little but never actually releaved my pain for more than the stretch lasted. Recently ive been feeling down and wanting to get back into stretching so i can do some gymnastics again. I love the sport and it makes me genuinely happy. I havent done a walkover since i hurt my back and thats my goal. I just did these stretches and my body feels amazing. I havent felt this loose in years. Im going to start doing this every day and see if it will help me get to my goal. I used to be able to do an over split (side splits but with your front foot elevated on a box and your back leg completely touching the ground flat) id love to be able to do that again as well. When i reach my goal ill have to reply to this and update if it helped as much as i think it will!
I just really needed a good stretch today, and this was perfect. I already walk for exercise, but I will be adding this to my routine as well. You don't realize how tight we are until you start stretching. Nice slow easy stretches, thank you:)
This is an awesome beginner stretch. When I started my body barely moved that way, now ( approximately 2 weeks after ) I'm flexible in ways I didn't imagine. I'm going to keep doing this. I'm challenging myself to be as flexible as Kaleigh. Posting my weekly update Week 1: ✅ ( Could barely move my body. Can't hold the positions ) Week 2: ✅ ( I'm learning to center myself while holding the stretch ) Week 3: On going
I’m 31 & not very flexible (like even trying to sit in some of the positions she sits in this video were a stretch to me). So in an effort to conduct some lifestyle changes I decided to add daily stretching to my morning routine. Been doing this vid about a week & I’m already noticing slight improvements (more comfort sitting crosslegged, posture, reaching for my toes, etc) excited to continue this flexibility & fitness journey

Day 1 of doing these stretches. I can't even do the one laying down bringing heel to arm, my arm can't even reach my calves. I'm doing this as self rehab for nerve damage so I don't have to limp everytime I walk

Just did this stretch for the first time. Some of the stretches were as hard as the 20 minute push and pull video I did before ! Guess I should keep at it so I get better.
First time doing this stretch, it’s great, I am so relaxed now. I did one of your full body weight workouts, about 40 minutes and followed with your 20 minute upper body and core as a finisher. I needed this stretch. Thank you!
Day 2. As someone that doesn’t stretch much and complains of always being stiff… I was able to get deeper into each stretch & felt the targeted muscle much better. Great full body stretch for wake up and pre-work!
Kaleigh..just wanted to say thanks...I am trying v hard to incorp a bit more activity into my life and your stretches first thing in the morning is really helping. Once I am in a routine for that..may expand for more activity...x This is a step towards me getting back to better health!

I am in the exact same situation as far as preparing for picking up in comp season for dance. I hope these stretches will get me back on track lol 😅
