Could you play the cascara rhythm on the ride or ride bell? and could you also use 4 on the floor for the bass drum pattern as well?

I usually play the cascara on the ride bell which opens up the possibility of having hi hat clicks on two and four with my left foot. Creates a more full pattern, but then again it depends on the instrumentation situation.

+O.J hakim Yep totally. I often use the cascara on the the wash of the ride in the verse. Or I use the pattern on the bell when I'm playing the chorus/songo groove. All good!
