I made it and it was delicious!!!! For the topping i made chocolate ganache instead because i couldnt get galatin. I also didn't use a cake as the base. It was delicious, not too sweet, it was just nice. I also doubled the amount of ingredients because my frying pan was larger... I really like the taste and texture! To me, it really tastes like those bought from cafés! Thank you really much for the recipe! This was for my sister's birthday cake and she loved it

Thats just a basic sponge cake that you can make in the oven pan. When i was studying at my baking school we made those constantly, and froze them. We used them under cheese cakes, mousse cakes, tarts and everything, its really useful and easy to make!
I assemble the cake inside a springform pan, tighten it when I am done stacking. I also use filling all the way to the bottom. It's the best cake in the universe!
She makes it look easy but that is a lot of hard work for a single cake .. but I am sure the taste and the satisfaction of it all are worth the effort !
