Being born in '85 myself, I couldn't agree more. Show Biz was awesome as a kid growing up in the 90's. We also had Excite over by the Riverdale shopping center, and also had Wild River Country. Now all closed... At least we still got one of the relics of our youth tho, the 'Arkansas Skatium' is still there -- although I haven't been there in over 20 years.

I couldn't wait for my Mom to take me with her to Kmart when I was a kid. The fresh smell of popcorn as you walk in...then I'd head straight to the toys while my Mom shops and made sure I found her before she went to the cashier line to pay...Those were the days😊

I use to work there. I was one of the employees who helped closed down the store. We cleaned out the entire store ourselves and got to take a lot of stuff home lol got a big check at the end too

I remember the parking lot full every weekend! Carshows, Super Stop and Denny's jumping, U.S. Marshalls coming in to try and stop the show on a real lit night! The movie theater and Casa Viva across the street! Bojangles was on University Ave and 65th Street!! The man that wrapped his car around the pole in front of Denny's doing burnouts!! I know that place the kmart in cabot arkansas also went out of business.. Now there is nothing inside of the one in cabot.. I heard of a lot of stuff that wanted to take it over.. Someone even said they was going to tear down and put apartment complex in there.. How about turning it into something for the homeless People ..there's no shelters Or drug treatment centers to get these people clean or job centers .. Or anything else it's like Shove the homeless people under the carpet.. Soup kitchen or food pantry is also needed around here..
