Just did my last night kinda small..I braided the roots then two strand twist the rest of the way and my hair is very short😌I’m so happy to start all over again
Subscribe. I started my locs 1 month ago by myself with 2 strand twist on 2.5inch long 4b hair. I intended to maintain them myself since I will be semi free form
I have a few pictures on Instagram and also on this video here on RUclips: ruclips.net/video/itDA75WHWWs/видео.html (What to expect when starting your locs) I have a couple of pictures in that video as well.
Maybe there’s a reason your loctician said this , but for me oils help to keep my hair moisturized. Some people are scared of oil buildup, but I only use oil (alone), on my locs when re-twisting, and I use the oil/water mixture sparingly, when my hair starts to dry out faster than usual.
Black is Royalty!! Thank you for this video.
🖤🖤

That’s great! I’m happy for you too! Braiding the roots was a great idea, especially with shorter hair.

Do you have videos or photos on your locs when you first put them in . Im asking because i have fine thin hair and its ugly its not even a month yet.

Do you moisturize your starter locs everyday or only when it needs it?
I started 4 days ago 🥰
Congratulations on starting your loc journey! I moisturized almost everyday, but it really only needed to been moisturized as needed.
Them arms tho!!!!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
😂😂 they are definitely strong 💪🏾 all that. Reaching up I have to do for my hair 🤣🤣
Did you tie your hair down with anything when you were working out when you first started them
Yes I wore a turban. I still do occasionally when I want my retwist to last a lil longer.

Thanks for subscribing ❤️❤️
did u start yo locs in June ?
I started them May 5th 🤎
Can I do this if I just got my starter locs I had them for 2 weeks
I would say yes, but don’t go too heavy with the water. It could cause your locs to unravel.
I started my sister's loc in August, and my loctician still ask me not to oil or apply any products at all. And the hair feels dry most of the time.

How about just misting with watet dear?
